I received two boxes as a gift, because I feed a lot of birds.
I was excited at first, even though they were all scrambled up in the box.
Very disappointed there really isn't any way to hang them on the feeders.
I can't put them in the trees because the squirrels will cart them off for an afternoon snack.
I will try to drill a whole in them and string them to a feeder pole.
I crammed one in a suet feeder along wth the suet which it sticks out oddly, and the birds haven't touch it at all.
I could think of better ways to spend $$$ on bird food!!

We hung 4 of the canes in one tree and the rest in another. The looks of the canes in the trees with the birds flying in for a holiday treat is a sight for all to see. Enjoy, I recommend it highly.

I purchased this product (2 boxes of 6) for our birds' winter trees. They were perfect - except that the candy canes will not stay on the tree without tying some twine to them to attach to the tree... otherwise they would be on the ground :( I would buy these again.

I ordered these for my mother as a Christmas present. I was disappointed upon receiving the product for two reasons. The candy canes were poorly packaged, as I noticed other customers have complained about. The slots in the cardboard box are too large to hold the candy canes in place. The candy canes shift in the box during shipment, and as a result are not seated in the slots in the cardboard box properly when you receive it. Also, I did not realize they are not solid seed, as I believe most, if not all, of the other products are. I wish I would have read the description more closely. I would have ordered one of the other items if I knew this. I feel these are overpriced, and not the quality I was expecting.
