Buy together and save! This set includes the VegTrug Patio Garden, the VegTrug Frame & Greenhouse Cover and the VegTrug Insect Cover.

The VegTrug Patio Garden lets you garden at an easy working height; no bending or kneeling to plant, tend and harvest. Elevated bed means no weeds and fewer pests, too. The V-shape makes efficient use of space and planting mix — grow deep-rooted plants like tomatoes in the center, shallow-rooted crops along the edges. Includes a fitted fabric liner to keep soil contained while letting excess water drain. Plastic feet protect wood from wet surfaces. Easy assembly.

The VegTrug Set includes the Vegtrug Frame & Greenhouse Cover. You can start planting earlier in spring and extend the growing season later into fall for an even bigger harvest. The easy-to-install, 21"-high steel frame installs in minutes with convenient push-fit connectors, and the reinforced polyethylene greenhouse cover has heavy-duty stitching and zippers. The cover slips snugly over the frame and attaches with strong VELCRO® brand tabs. Zips open for ventilation and easy access to crops.

The set also includes the polyethylene micro-mesh VegTrug Insect Cover to protect plants from insects, birds, harsh winds and hungry deer. To install, simply remove the greenhouse cover from the frame, and then install the insect cover in its place. Attaches with strong VELCRO® brand tabs. Zips open for ventilation and easy access to crops.

      Good planting option

      Best Uses

It's a great idea and a good design; the wood seems a little flimsy and the pre-drilled holes don't line up as they should in certain spots. I had to do a work around which isn't the ideal.

This was real easy to put together. I'm going to use it on my front porch and really like the idea of having a insect cover and a green house cover to keep all the varmints out. However, with our winds, I feel that the frame for these covers may not be strong enough - but I have an idea that I am going to try..PVC pipe for the frame to fit insde. Other than that I can not wait to plant in it!

We have found it a great way to start a vegetable garden for two. Perfect for our zone 7 as the soil warms up faster for earlier/longer growing season and the cover saved it from getting too much water and drowning our plants in several days of drenching rains.
          Glad I made the investment.

This was perfect (a raised garden bed) for my veggies. I wanted something raised high enough so my 86 year old mom could help tend the veggies. As I was putting it together (it took 2 people, one to stablize while one drilled), I reolized this was going to be easy on the back for me too. Wish I knew about this type of raised garden bed before. I bought 2 and so far they are wonderful.

I use the veg trug on my deck for gardening with "dwarf", "compact" "patio", or "pixie" vegetable varieties. I also planted edible flowers such as nasturtium and dianthus. I planted basil, Cilantro, stevia, parsley, oregano and dill along with the others. I absolutely love the veg trug! Filled it with organic soil and everything is growing fantastic! The net protects the vegetables from deer and other wild animals. The net also protects the tender plants from bugs and down pours of rain. Cannot make enough positive comments about this product. It is very sturdy and well built. Looks great on my new deck.

only had for ~ 1 month, but it seems wonderful. Relatively easy assembly although some holes were misaligned. The height is so great and easy to cultivate various vegetables. If you plan to grow tomatoes in it, skip the covers!! They are much to short for growing tomato bushes. You will need to leave it uncovered.

Received as Christmas present from my husband.
So far, my vegetables are going great. Late cold snaps did not affect the plants because I used the greenhouse cover and screen cover. We had strong winds in March and my plants were protected. May 1st and have many tomatoes on plants already. Lettuce has been cut for several weeks. Would like to add another trug next year.
