Description

Now, gardeners in the US can enjoy the unmatched durability and legendary comfort of Gold Leaf Gloves. Boasting exceptionally high-quality materials and workmanship, Gold Leaf Gloves stand up to tough tasks yet remain soft and pliable. One of the few select products ever endorsed by Britain’s Royal Horticultural Society, Gold Leaf gloves are used by the gardeners at Buckingham Palace! Tough Touch Gloves are made with premium deerskin leather that has been specially treated for water resistance, with a thin lining that offers additional protection. They're perfect for your toughest gardening tasks, including pruning and transplanting, even in wet or muddy conditions. The gloves start out snug; as you wear them they stretch and conform to the contours of your hand like a custom-tailored glove. Choice of two sizes: Women's or Men's. Women with large hands may want to order the Men's size.

I bought these gloves with the long gauntlets specifically to use when weeding a big flower bed that is loaded with thistles. Now that I wear these gloves, my hands and arms are protected. No scratches or stabs anymore. The gloves are flexible and allow complete freedom of movement when weeding. Plus they feel comfortable against the skin.

I bought my first pair in England when I was on tour. They were a bit more than I would normally pay for gloves but gave them a try. I love these gloves and so happy that Gardeners decided to carry them because I was unable to find them for a couple of years in the US. I have both the reg gloves and the rose gloves. I have not tried the insulated but I think with the quality of this product they would be great for cold weather tasks.

I use these for pulling multiflora roses, and they are the only gloves I've found that keep my hands and arms safe from the thorns. Got my first pair in England and am so glad to find them again at Gardener's Supply.
