Description
Bring your garden up to a whole new level! Our 2' x 8' elevated bed is easy to plant, tend and harvest without kneeling or bending. Plus, it offers creative landscaping opportunities. Set up one or more of these rectangular beds around the edge of your patio to add privacy, or arrange several along a perimeter to create a garden "room". Like our other cedar raised beds, the sides are held in place with our sleek and sturdy aluminum corners. There's a false floor made from marine-grade plywood set 10" down from the top so there's plenty of root space for vegetables and flowers. Floor has holes for drainage; vents in the sides allow air to circulate and excess moisture to evaporate. Specifications

Comments about Elevated Cedar Raised Beds: allows me to garden without being on my knees..my pathway is wide enough for a wheelchair and when needed the raised beds will allow me to garden from my chair..for now they make life easier and I can "dig in the dirt" with ease Pros

Best Uses Comments about Elevated Cedar Raised Beds: This is a great looking product once assembled. Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Elevated Cedar Raised Beds: We absolutely love these boxes! We ordered three boxes. We were thrilled to find that a good portion of the boxes are already assembled...can't say that about very many products these days. It comes with about 40 screws (all the same size so that makes it easy) and that's it. We stained the boxes prior to assembling and the wood appears to be great quality and took the stain well. The boxes will also create a wall between the yard and driveway. So glad we ordered them in January. They arrived within a few days. One review said the wait was about 6 weeks so we didn't want to risk that. I see the boxes are not backordered so I am so happy we ordered early. Great purchase! Pros

Comments about Elevated Cedar Raised Beds: The cedar raised beds are just perfect . We bought 2 - 2x8 and 1 - 4x4 for a small space. They fit perfect look beautiful and most of all are easy on the back . I will be growing beans and peas, beets, carrots, squash, pumpkin, cucumbers. Tomatoes and exotics will be in a hot house. Now the yard could be called an Edible Landscape!! We are hoping to buy more next year then we will have a Garden Tour through a local Gardening Educational Center! I am very excited. Pros

Comments about Elevated Cedar Raised Beds: We bought one of these raised beds to try to squeeze the maximum amount of daylight out of a hilly part of our yard. The cedar (which the outside is made of) is pretty nice, and took our stain/waterproofer fairly well. However, the false bottom is made of marine plywood. The plywood that came with our raised bed was warped and had obvious places where the plywood had come apart on the sides and been glued back together with big gobs of glue still visible and sticking out the sides. Now, you may say, this part isn't visible when the bed is planted, so why worry? And indeed I didn't return the raised bed because of the plywood issue. But when a raised bed is as expensive as this one is, I do expect some pride in workmanship, which was not evident in the bed I received. Nevertheless it holds dirt and looks reasonably nice on the outside, so I will use it. Pros

Comments about Elevated Cedar Raised Beds: I wanted this item to put on deck for planting veggies and herbs. I have a bad back and this makes it so much easier to plant and maintain. Didn't open it up yet due to weather being lousy and having our deck restained. Thank you Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » How-To
