Description

  • Sturdy trellis support plants for a big harvest of unblemished fruit
  • V-shaped design and patented cradle shape support fruit-laden vines more effectively than stakes
  • Ideal for raised beds and small-space gardens

We've made our popular tomato trellis ladder even better. They still have 7mm steel uprights and our exclusive "plant cradle" crosspieces that give multiple places for vines to rest. But now they're modular and stackable, so you can arrange them any way you like. Each set includes six 32-1/2" tall sections. Use singly to support eggplants and peppers; stack two for bush tomatoes; stack three for tall, indeterminate tomatoes. These are the sturdiest ladders you can buy — 20% thicker than others on the market — with a long-lasting, weatherproof powder coating. (We have some that are 15 years old and still look as good as new.) Tomato Ladders will make the most of your garden space, reduce damage from pests and diseases, and give you a bigger harvest of delicious, unblemished fruit. Ladders nest for compact off-season storage. Choice of Red or Green.

Comments about Stacking Tomato Ladders, Set of 6:

I've tried many other tomato ladders or supports and so far these are the best I've found. As far as longevity time will tell as I just got them and planting season is still 2 to 3 weeks away. I like that cross support is built in and can make them taller as needed. If wind becomes a problem you can always stake them

Love the colors, brightens my garden, serve the purpose for all vining and tall plants, quite disappointed that color faded post first year of use. Hoping it does not crack or become brittle. Will try again to see if product had been improved. Hope so as I love gardening and use this co. a lot.

These are really sturdy, solid tomato ladders (not light). They work great and provide a versatile backbone for tying up tomato vines.

I am impressed with the quality and the thikness of the metal. I haven't been able to try these yet but bought them for my contaianers, Tomatoes, Peppers and cucumbers. Some people complain aboout the price but I figure you get what you pay for and these are qualityk. If I could suggest for containers you might consider stocking some round ones that woould fit and stack in a 5 gallon bucket. That is how I will use theladders.

I've owned the original Tomato Ladders for years - I still have the first ones I purchased in 2005, and they look like new. The stackable ladders are a very poor update - the joints are difficult to use, they rust very quickly (before the end of the first season of use) and once they begin to rust, you cannot get them apart. I would highly recommend the originals, but despise these.

These work great for my tomatoes. I like that the height can be adjusted dependent on your plants needs and fit perfectly into your typical large grow bag. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is they can rust at the points where the ladders join (water runs down into the lower ladder so advise sealing them in some way to prevent - would be lovely if they added gaskets?), they can become top heaving / tip over once the plants get large (may want to bury past the first cross bars or use long gardening pins with if growing tall tomatoes) and the bright colors tend to fade after first couple of seasons. None of the cons have deterred my love of them...just bought a couple more sets and have been using for last 4 years. Holding up great.

Comments about Stacking Tomato Ladders, Set of 6:

I have a very small backyard (we're talking square-foot gardening). Even though I totally support my local farmers market, there's nothing as rewarding as slicing up one of my own home-grown tomatoes and dressing with some locally produced olive oil and balsamic vinegar. These stacking towers are much more versatile than tomato cage cones because you can adjust height and placement. They're sturdy and attractive. Come with rubber stoppers to waterproof the vertical tubes. Four stars right there. The fifth star because of the design versatility. You can stack them or not, arrange them as needed.
