Description

  • Sturdy trellis support plants for a big harvest of unblemished fruit
  • V-shaped design and patented cradle shape support fruit-laden vines more effectively than stakes
  • Ideal for raised beds and small-space gardens

We've made our popular tomato trellis ladder even better. They still have 7mm steel uprights and our exclusive "plant cradle" crosspieces that give multiple places for vines to rest. But now they're modular and stackable, so you can arrange them any way you like. Each set includes six 32-1/2" tall sections. Use singly to support eggplants and peppers; stack two for bush tomatoes; stack three for tall, indeterminate tomatoes. These are the sturdiest ladders you can buy — 20% thicker than others on the market — with a long-lasting, weatherproof powder coating. (We have some that are 15 years old and still look as good as new.) Tomato Ladders will make the most of your garden space, reduce damage from pests and diseases, and give you a bigger harvest of delicious, unblemished fruit. Ladders nest for compact off-season storage. Choice of Red or Green.

I absolutely love these for my tomato plants. Now I don't have to deal with the wooden stakes toppling over from the weight of the tomatoes or from gusty winds. Was packaged very well and delivery was very quick.

Comments about Stacking Tomato Ladders, Set of 6:

I keep 3 sections stacked for my indeterminate tomatoes which gives most of them plenty of height to grow. These are slender supports that allow you to fit more plants in your garden as compared to traditional tomato cages. Very sturdy even with tall bushy plants in high winds. Over the years paint corrodes and rust forms where the sections fit together. Be mindful of that.

These tomato ladders are strong and can support plants that are heavy with tomatoes. They do not lean over. I am pleased with this purchase.

Comments about Stacking Tomato Ladders, Set of 6:

These ladders are too slender for a healthy, bushy tomato plant. I have to use a whole set of 6 for a single indeterminate plant, or 2/3 of a set for a determinate plant.

Comments about Stacking Tomato Ladders, Set of 6:

Pleased with the sturdiness of the towers. We are using them for a dual purpose. Stacking them two high, they are keeping the bird netting away from our blueberries in one section while holding large yogurt size containers of strawberry plants or lavender plants within the frame. We removed the label of the yogurt container, the white container looks great with the red frames, then we put holes around the bottom circumference. Watering is an issue in very hot weather, all containers dry out fast.

In our squash, cucumber section while holding the netting away from the plants they are also giving support to the plants. The rubber tabs in the top holes do not stay on and easily get lost, not sure of a solution for this.... suggestions???

I bought six of these tomato ladders last year and was very satisfied with them. They work well in the garden and in large containers. They were easy to store through the winter by stacking them in threes. I bought six more this spring and am using them for tomatoes and for eggplant. They are very sturdy and provide good support for my plants.

My tomatoes are thriving this year. Had to order more sections to make my towers taller. Very easy to add since one side is open. None of them are tipping or falling over. Very sturdy.

They have 11 inches at the base that goes into the ground, I am sure they will hold up to the wind and weight of the plants.
