Description

  • Sparkling crackle glass tabletop trap controls pesky fruit flies
  • Effective and easy to use
  • Eco-friendly: no plastic traps to throw away
  • Includes three packets of non-toxic lure

Who wants annoying fruit flies flitting around the fruit bowl? No one will ever know that this pretty glass pear is also a fruit fly trap, which works like a wasp trap. Attracted by the bait, fruit flies enter and can't find their way back out. Just mix a packet of lure with water, remove the top from the pear and pour in the lure. Every two weeks or so, simply rinse out the pear and add a fresh batch of lure — no plastic traps to throw away. Includes three packets of non-toxic lure; additional lures sold separately. Choice of Green or Yellow.

Comments about Pear Fruit Fly Traps:

I really like the green glass pear, but it was a bit larger than I expected. That's good for catching more fruit flies, but a bit less inconspicuous than I had thought it would be. So far it is working well. I haven't been using it long enough to have to clean it out, so I can't comment on the ease of cleaning just yet.

Comments about Pear Fruit Fly Traps:

I work at a Farm Market. The fruit flys have been just awful this year. I put one in my Bakery. The critters are drawn to this and the lure really, really well. I also use one in my home kitchen even though the flys aren't as bad.

Comments about Pear Fruit Fly Traps:

If you compost and have a container in the sink to catch the kitchen scraps you need this product. I had trouble with fruit flies because of the kitchen scraps like orange/banana/etc. peels but this really keeps traps them. I'm still learning about how long one solution will last but for now I recommend it.

Comments about Pear Fruit Fly Traps:

It is much bigger than I thought, which takes up a lot of counter space. The top will not stay on, so I had to use another bottle cap. The only thing nice about it, is the beautiful sparkly glass. I say, don't waste your money!

My Mom and I have been dealing with fruit flies this year! Fed up, I ordered her and I each one of these. We've caught thousands of flies so far! The range is ok... But you set the trap where u see the most and move it around. Glad we bought them! I do recommend them to anyone one dealing with them!

Followed set up instructions carefully. Observed the distances described. Looks O.K. in kitchen. Attracts fruit flys to the area, but almost none actually enter the trap. Does not attract pests from more than a few feet. Bait refills are over priced.
