Description

  • Sweet, full-bodied Vermont maple syrup is world famous
  • It takes 30-40 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of syrup!

We sell only 100% pure, organic maple syrup, made from the clear, sweet sap of Vermont's world-famous sugar maples. The sap is tapped in early spring on a 200-acre family farm and then boiled down over a roaring wood fire. The result is Grade A medium amber syrup with the full-bodied flavor preferred by most Vermonters. A favorite on pancakes, waffles or oatmeal, it also livens up baked beans, glazed carrots and ice cream!

Grade A sounds great, but B is better

By Sam

Verified Buyer

Pros

  • Can't Go Wrong With Syrup
  • It's From Vermont
  • Makes a nice gift

Cons

  • Grade A Has Less Flavor
  • Grade B Tastes
  • Not Organic
  • Over priced

Best Uses

  • Pancakes Duh

Grade A is marketed as the premium syrup, but Grade B has more flavor. Still, this was a fun gift to recieve since we love maple syrup and live on the West side of the Rockies, where maple syrup isn't produced.

Don't like plastic bottles and packaging, but this was shipped, so maybe the alternative would have been too expensive.

Great taste

By jssck5

Pros

  • Great maple flavor

Cons

  • thin

Best Uses

Love the great maple flavor. The only negative comment I would have is that it is thin, not thick like "pancake syrup" but of course this is the real thing.

This maple syrup is so good we use it on acorn squash with butter instead of brown sugar. There is no comparison to the awful stuff the grocery stores pass off as maple syrup here in Houston. The genuine article is exquisite in flavor and texture. It brings back memories of sugaring in the spring when I lived in Vermont and got to pour fresh syrup over ice. Also this product is delicious over ice cream. Highly recommended!

        It's Maple syrup!

Artificial pancake syrup might be ok, if you don't have real Maple syrup. Real Maple syrup is the best.
