Description

  • Each ladder can hold a huge harvest — over 100 pounds
  • Ladders cradle fruit-laden vines more effectively than stakes
  • V-shaped design protects each plant's main stem
  • Ladders nest for compact off-season storage

If you have a really big tomato crop this year, will your plant supports be able to handle the load? Our exclusive Tomato Ladders are the sturdiest you can buy, because they’re made with 7mm steel uprights — 20% thicker than others on the market! They’ll last season after season too, thanks to a weatherproof powder coating. Best of all, our Tomato Ladders are better for your plants. The rounded-V shape protects plants from wind and accidental breakage. The seven cradle-shaped cross-members give multiple places for vines to rest, and make it easy to set the ladders into the ground. Tomato Ladders will make the most of your garden space, reduce pests and disease, and give you a bigger harvest of juicy, unblemished fruit — guaranteed!

These are well made. This is my first experience using this type of tomato stake. My tomato plants are getting really big already. Next year I will put two next to each other like this < > as I believe it would support the branches that do not seem to want to grow up but out. It was difficult to put it around my tomato plants and predict the way they would grow when they were still small.

I am currently using the product to support tomatoes. I like the fact that these are very sturdy, and should last a number of years. As my tomatoes grow, it should be interesting to see if these will be easy to use as supports. It looks like I'll have to put a support perpendicular to the supports that I have.

we are trying these for the first time this year. we have many of the square tomato/pepper cages and love them. Yesterday we had high winds and rain from tropical storm Ana and they stood strong in the wind. No damages to our tomato plants. Thanks

                            Yep. Actually over 40 years.
They're called Continuous High Chair Uppers and they are used to reinforce concrete slabs...
Cutting off the bottom support and patenting them as "tomato stakes" is kinda funny.

Dad used them in his garden when I was a kid. I'm over 50 now and using the same ones to this day.

Very sturdy, doesn't fall over even with heavy fruit. Doesnt rust. I've had these for years, and they're by far the best for tomatoes and cucumbers.

The tomatos are planted and the ladders are in waiting for the plants to be needed. They are strong and look well made. Time will tell if they do the job but by all indications, they will.
