      Comments about Solar-Powered String Lights:

This is a poorly made product - solar cell is tiny and not up to the standard of other solar string lights I have owned.

            Comments about Solar-Powered String Lights:

We could not get any consistency from the lights, or get them to stay on for more than a few minutes. When handling them they would go on and off. mostly off. Seemed like a great idea for our outdoor decorative needs, turned out to be a very frustrating product.

              Comments about Solar-Powered String Lights:

Got two strings for 8' arched rose trellis. Four would've been better. Ordered white light, not blue. I look forward to the sun going down and the trellis goes up. Waited a month to write this review to see if I experienced any of the problems of other reviewers. No problems--other the missing lights from deer who are after the rosebuds. I'll enjoy the lights until the deer have wrecked them. Then, I'll probably order more and place them more wisely.

Try as we might we have yet to get these to work. As I recall they were rather expensive. Sure wish I could find the return label so that I could send them back.

I received these as a gift. I gave them twice the recommended time in the sun. When I turned them on, they quickly began to dim and went off soon after.

                    Comments about Solar-Powered String Lights:

I let these lights charge for longer than the 8 hours directed. We live in Santa Fe, NM, with a lot of direct sunlight for charging. I hung the lights outside over a trellis in an area of the yard that doesn't get any illumination from outdoor lighting, but apparently it's still not dark enough for these lights to come on and stay on for any extended period of time. The only night they've come on was when we had a cloudy night and the moon wasn't as bright as usual. And even then, not all of the bulbs on the string lit up and although I had them set for continuous light, they only intermittently blinked.

I tested them inside the house in a completely dark closet and they do light up, but I've been unable to get them to work anywhere else - inside or outside the house where there is the slightest bit of ambient light. Very disappointed as these are not inexpensive, but they are not as pictured in the catalog at all.
