Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

My daughter and I built an L-shaped raised bed around the perimeter of a raised deck. It took us a morning to build and came out great. Looks great and is quite functional. It is 14' on one leg and 8' on the other. I had ordered the 8" corners but quickly decided I needed 12". This allowed us to use 2" x 6" boards doubled up for the sides. I also didn't originally understand that I should use connectors for longer than 6 foot run. And the post office lost one order so I had 3 different orders which I then had to return to get the 12". It was very complicated to straighten out the orders and get the exact parts I really needed but the Customer Service was so-o-o-o-o helpful and courteous -- even calling and emailing me to follow up. What a big help they were. And now we are off to build another raised bed and I have plans for a third! Great product and easy to use. Looks great.

      Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

I purchased these corners for a garden box I was planning to build. They work awesome with 2x4s, however, I used 2x6s. I did not realize 2x6s are just a smidge wider than 2x4s. They were just fat enough to make the job difficult. I finally got the boards in, but with lots of pounding and it took much longer than expected. If you are building a raised garden, use 2x4s and make your life easy! Other than that one little glitche, I am really happy with them. Now that the box is finished, it looks great.

These corners were easy to assemble and created strong square corners. We used them to rebuild the boxes for raised garden beds. Should have used them the first time!

                    Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

These are a joke. They do not fit standard 2x CEDAR lumber, the width of the corners is about 1/8" to narrow. I brought these in to the local home store (thankfully I had these with me or I would have gotten all the way home with lumber that doesn't work) and discovered that 2x Cedar lumber is a bit thicker than pressure treated pine. The pressure treated 2x fits like a glove but I will not use treated lumber for a raised bed. So, I'm off to find a lumber yard that might sell cedar lumber that fits and waste a bunch more time. Between the gas, time, extra expense of the correct lumber this is turning out to be a fiasco. I suppose with a woodworking shop, a planer, sander, and/or router one could futz around with these to make it work but that defeats the purpose. Why the engineers of these things dont make these a bit wider is beyond me but frankly not surprising in a world where common sense seems to be lacking everywhere. Shipping cost to and from make it not worth returning. What a waste of time and money! GSC has lost any future business from me and anyone I know...

                      Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

Putting a raised bed was super easy with these corners! I had the lumber yard cut the end pieces for me, so I didn't even need a saw. It took us less than 30 minutes to put the whole thing together.
