I purchased this product to keep my feral cat and the raccoons out of flower pots. So far raccoons seem to be ok with leaving it alone but Jerry Lee says this makes a fine bed. And if he so desires, he can work his paw under it and remove it entirely. I suppose he could be smarter than the average kitty, ya think?? So product isn't working well for me.

The five mats can be easily cut into four pieces each. You place them around your plants to keep cats from messing in your flower beds. They work perfectly. I have been able to keep cats out of my flowers, without harming the cats, since I placed the Scat Mats in the flower beds. The mats are a dark brown color so that you don't notice them among the plants and flowers.

I put cat scats in my raised garden beds. It has dicouraged the neighborhood cats from digging up the lettuce and basil sprouts.

It's a great idea and I haven't seen a similar product elsewhere, but the price is extravagant for what it must cost to manufacture. It is very lightweight and squirrels often pull it out. I may need to keep it in the soil with garden staples.

I move plants and cats in for the winter and the cats think I move the big flower pots in for them to use as bathrooms and then I have to move the pots back outside because of the smell, even though I have a litter box for the cats. Had to move 3 big spikes back outside before I got these - Not anymore, it works like a charm!

Pesky cats that neighbors allow to roam free have ruined my garden. These things keep the cats from scratching up my flower beds which I don't consider litter boxes!
