        Comments about Hands-Free Bug Screen:

The door from my kitchen goes to the garage and then the door from the garage goes to the backyard. The hands free bug screen was the perfect thing to use on the kitchen door to keep the bugs out and the doors open. Several guests commented that they needed "to get one of these."

          Comments about Hands-Free Bug Screen:

          I like:
it comes down at season end
          dog can easily use
          keeps majority of bugs out
          Don't like:
Both mine ripped first year, I'm on my third summer, still use them with tears.
the velcro becomes less useful as the years go by
metal magnates don't keep it closed well
needs more velcro to keep it in place

only thing it needs more adhesive on the sides. A couple more on each side would really help.

Very easy to put up. Have had two others that attached with Velcro to the top to hold the screen up. Always fell. This is secured by a tension rod. Love it. Can have the patio door open all day now. Closes securely after going in/out.

              Comments about Hands-Free Bug Screen:

This is a fairly reasonable substitute for a screen door, easy to install. It is like hanging curtains with a tension rod. However, with the sticky pads at the sides, if removed they pull off paint and would not be replaceable for the next season. Large gaps all around and especially at the bottom which still allow in bugs although it is much better than nothing.

                Comments about Hands-Free Bug Screen:

Like so many suburban homes our garage is in the front of the house. With the bug screen we are able to leave the service door open when the garage door is up & get a nice breeze flowing through the house. The screen is easy to install. For the most part, it keeps the dog in--unless there's a squirrel. Everyone comments about how handy it is.

                  Comments about Hands-Free Bug Screen:

I have bought a number of things for the back doors over the years, beads, string curtains, similar products as this but none of them held up during use or, if they did, were inaeffective. And I had my doubts about these holding up. But so far, they have without any repair methods. For one thing, the magnet section doesn't catch on things as you go in and out. That was the problem with other screens of this type. The second is the mesh is stronger itself and that it doesn't rely on thumbtacks and tape to keep it in place.
It is actually well-made and a well thought out product. I'm happy with the two I bought and it's been over a month of heavy use.
