Comments about GardenQuilt Cover:

Protects against cold very well. At 19*F lost only a few raspberries and strawberries along the edges. Hoops and good anchors are a must. I used some on small fruit trees, I am not sure they are cost effective. The wind tore them to shreds.

        Comments about GardenQuilt Cover:

I live in the desert. I live in Vail, AZ, just south of Tucson. We grow sweet pepper and tomatoes, cucumber and melons. As soon as the fruit starts to ripen and displays any color, the birds and rats attack. I bought this garden cloth to completely enclose my garden to prevent the critters from ruining our crop. The 1.25-oz cloth is sturdy and will definitely keep out the critters. My only concern is that when it starts getting hot (June), this cloth may retain too much heat. Time will tell.

This is my 3rd year using this product. I sew it to fit my garden area. It has tabs on the edges to secure it tightly as we have strong winds where I live. The material is very strong except for the lightweight material. All it does is get a hole in it.
I would recommend it to everyone

          Comments about GardenQuilt Cover:

In my area summer weight row cover is available but not the heavier row cover, thank you. I clip the cloth around my fushias and orchid cactus and they are protected outside under a patio cover with the addition of this row cover. I also protect old aquariums that I use as little green houses and it helps insulate cuttings against colder nights. It is ackward to get it cut to smaller sizes. I would like the to be able to order narrower widths with the long lengths.

                  Comments about GardenQuilt Cover:

I just moved to a new house and brought potted perennials and shrubs with me. Because I was not ready to plant them, I needed a protective place to overwinter them. This cover, in combination with the high rise hoops, has been a perfect solution!
