Membership in Kids Club events is FREE of charge unless otherwise noted. Join now and we'll enroll your little sprout in the program.

Bring your favorite teddy bear and have a tea party in our conservatory! Can you say Epyphylum? Wow, that’s an unusual word! Learn all about air plants and orchids. We will take a green house tour and you will be able to take an air plant home. Maximum attendance 20 kids

Bees and Butterflies
Back by popular demand, heavenly honey apiary is coming back to Gardeners Supply! Scott Wilson is a certified bee keeper and will be bringing a live honeybee observatory to the Garden Center. You will learn all about the life cycle of the honeybee, what plants attract butterflies and bees, and why plants can’t grow without pollination. You will also have the opportunity to help plant a bee/ butterfly garden.

Making Lip Balms from the Garden w/ Heather Irvine
Learn garden plants that are beautiful to look at that can also go into lip balms. Learn about the bees that made the wax for our lip balms too. We will make a lip balm for each child to decorate and take home. You may also take home some seeds so you can grow these plants, which also helps the bees!

Do you believe in Fairies?
Come to the Garden Center and help create at fairy garden. We’ll take a story walk around the pond in search
of fairies. Create your own fairy house to take home. Max Attendance: 25 kids per session

The Vermont Audubon Center will come to the garden center to present Beautiful Birds. Fall is the perfect time to learn about birds. Many birds that spent the summer in Vermont are preparing for a long migration south, while others are getting ready for a cold and snowy winter. Through games, activities and observation, we will learn about bird adaptations, migration, and identification. We will also introduce you to a world of bird watching with binoculars and field guides.

Pumpkins & pirates!
Rockin' Ron the Friendly Pirate is returning to the Garden Center. He is sure to put a smile on everyone's face. Search for pirate's buried treasure among the jack-o-lanterns in our nursery, paint a pumpkin to take home.

Breakfast with Santa*
Have breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Children will sing-along to Christmas carols, decorate holiday cookies and make ornaments. Max Attendance: 25 kids/seating
