    • Small area of dirt or lawn

    Comments about : Grow Bed, 3' x 3':

We all aren't up to double-digging unimproved dirt or removing sod to repurpose lawn. These (slightly) raised beds are the convenient answer! I bought two of the 3x6 version, but the entry form keeps coming up with the 3x3 so I will leave my opinion here. If you would like to grow your own salad greens, maybe a tomato, scallions, radishes... but the project never gets done because of all the preparation -- this is the product for you!

Just got two of the 3x6 size. At first I thought it was odd they weren't the more customary size of 4x8, a size we have built from wood before. But I decided to go with the ease of installation of these as we have enough projects in the first year of new home! Immediately I see that planting and tending plants in the 3' wide bed is going to be so much better for my lower back! Can't yet comment on durability in our fierce UV sun, but hoping for the best.

I have set up these beds, but the real test will be next garden season.

So far, they exceed my expectations.

I bought two of these several years ago in the 3 x 6 size and they are showing no signs of wear. Over the years I've added both of the smaller sizes to my collection to fit into the limited gardening spaces available in my yard. I've grown all sorts of veggies, herbs, and flowers with success, which would have been very difficult without these beds because of the clay and rock combination that passes for soil where I live.

Deep enough to grow carrots. Never have to walk on soil - stays light. Easier to weed and fewer weeds.

                  Comments about : Grow Bed, 3' x 3':

I had a 4 X 8 ft raised bed but this year I decided I needed more room, also a separate space to grow hot peppers. It was perfect, I had zucchini and a frame of cakes. Well I liked it so much I bought two for my grandkids in NY for their first garden (I brought them to NY and we had fun planting both with a good variety of veggies and seeds). Then I decided I needed a separate bed for zucchini, which can over grow everything, so I bought another one. They ar perfect for beginning gardeners or grandchildren. I would highly recommend them and their bigger brother.

                    Comments about : Grow Bed, 3' x 3':

Last year's purchase of a 3'x3' raised bed kit encouraged me to order the larger size. With only an inch or two of topsoil over gravel, raised beds are the only way to create garden space here. Last year's perennials are doing well and I look forward to putting in more and adding spring bulbs! It would have been helpful to have an insert with kit for recommendation of type and amount of soil to fill bed.
