Comments about : GardenQuilt Cover 6' x 20':

I've sung the praises of this quilt before - it kept my Deep South garden alive during a single-digit cold snap a few years back. However I disagree with "several years" of use. I can get about two years out of it before the fabric becomes fragile - probably sunlight breaking it down. I usually leave it laying out along the beds when not in use because it is hard for me by myself to constantly be folding and storing it only to bring it back out again all winter long. It is well worth the cost of purchase and replacement.

i have ben using these protective covers for many years--and order as my plant collection grows-- i moved all my subtropical plants to a colder climate and these covers keep them from freezing--i can sleep through the night knowing that my plants, some that are quite sensitive to even cold weather, will be safe. In the summer i use the lightweight ones to protect my tomatoes, etc. from deer and insects.

I can't find better frost covers then these. I used them year after year for other shrubs during freeze or close to freezing temps.

We have the 2'x8' raised bed with trellis and the Vegtrug. The vegtrug has a winter cover (to overwinter the snow here in New England. There is no cover available for the 2'x8' planter, so we bought this, doubled it up a few times and tied it down to overwinter that bed. It's breathable, light and easy to work with and will keep seeds, weeds and other matter out of the bed during the winter.

We use these to grow vegetables all year long in NC, Zone 7B (we use plastic over these for coldest weather). They breathe, protect tender cooler plants like carrots from sun, and allow us to eat healthy vegetables all year. We love them.

This cover is protecting my winter vegetables from our overnight freezes.
They look great even though we have had several freezing nights.
