    I'm on in years and can't get "down and dirty" as I did when I was young. This tool comes in very handy when I have to cut back perennials. My husband uses it also for lawn maintenance. Good tool!

    Took a little bit to get used to-better control with a standard hand clipper. If you have difficulty bending over ,this might be for you

    I purchased this item because bending is difficult for me, especially for extended periods. I wanted to use it for trimming along the patio edge and to cut off individual weeds that spring up in the landscape. I found the blade to be so flimsy that it will only cut grass. It wasn't even strong enough to clip off fairly small weeds...and forget anything like star thistle. Much too lightweight for the price.
