You will not be unhappy with these gloves. Fit well and really protect your arms from the thorns.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
These are the best gloves. [...] they really do protect you from the rose thorns.I bought a pair for my sister who has a big piece of property with roses every where.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
This pair of gloves should only be used while pruning thorn-free vegetation. I had to pull thorns out of the base of my thumb several times. I resorted to using my standard-length gloves, and just accepting that my arms were going to be scratched through the long-sleeved shirt I wore.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
I expected protection from thorns and had to be most cautious as the thorns penetrated the gloves at every opportunity.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
When dead heading roses and pulling weeds around my roses.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
Purchased as a gift for an avid gardener- Rave comments came back. She grows roses, holly hedges and other plantings. Lots of weekend clean up.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
The best-feeling sythetic glove I've tried. I have very delicate skin and these really protect my forearms. Not too cumbersome or heavy like other gauntlets I've tried.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
I had a pair which somebody borrowed and never returned! These are great gloves for anyone who trims roses, holly or anything with thorns.
The quality is very good.

Comments about Rose Gloves:
I just love these. I have 16 rose bushes in my landscaping and sported very scratched arms and hands. NO MORE!
Comments about Rose Gloves:
I purchased the gloves to aid me in tending my roses. But, my hands and fingers did encounter the thorns on the roses which disappoints me.
We have many snakes in East Texas; that is another reason for extra protection when gardening. I am surprised that the gloves are not "puncture proof".
Comments about Rose Gloves:
Finally - a pair of gloves that allows me to work in my roses without having to give a blood sacrifice! Really detours the thorns and I have a few very thorny shrub roses. Love these gloves. They protect both my hands and arms. It's hot in Houston and working in the yard with long sleevs is uncomfortable. These gloves helps tremendously.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
If you grow roses you need these.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
Until now, trimming, cutting-back, pruning or weeding has left scratches and bruises on my arms.
This is the best protection I have found!
Comments about Rose Gloves:
I am really looking forward to working with my roses while wearing these gloves. The length will protect me while pruning, mulching, and winter wraping. They will especially help me tame my thorny yellow rose.

My wife is very serious about her roses. She has been very pleased with her gloves. They do an excellant job of protecting her hands and arms.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
My sister-in-law had a pair of these and loved them so I ordered a pair for myself. Can't wait for summer and my rose bushes to be in bloom!!
Comments about Rose Gloves:
I had a hard time finding rose gloves elsewhere. These are flexible and washable!
Comments about Rose Gloves:
Great gloves....I use them for all gardening not just roses becasue of the long coverage up the arm for protection
Comments about Rose Gloves:
I was hesitant to order these quality gloves as I thought the price a little steep, however, they are worth every penny and will last a long time I'm sure.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
I wear gloves to protect my hands, and now also my arms with this product!
Comments about Rose Gloves:
My husband laughed at the long sleeves on these gloves. But as soon as I was up to my elbows way down pushing fall leaves into the tall paper bags that the city uses for leaf collection, he recognized that my arms weren't filthy dirty and wet (like his).
When I'm reaching in and around unruly berry bushes, my arms don't get ripped up like they used to.

Comments about Rose Gloves:
These gloves extend almost up to my elbow to protect me from the rose thorns when dead heading or doing winter pruning.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
Very sturdy, protective and comfortable to garden with. Would be better with a straighter cuff (debris gets in) which is why it gets 4 stars instead of 5.

Comments about Rose Gloves:
I used to get all torn up when pruning my roses but these gloves make a world of difference! I can work with my roses with no worries now. I haven't had them long enough to know how they'll weather but I'm confident there won't be any issues.

Great protection while pruning roses and raspberries. Also good when pulling thistle weeds. The long length is just what I was looking for.

Comments about Rose Gloves:
I purchased to protect my fingers, hands, arms while cutting back blackberries and wild roses. The gauntlet is great at protecting arms, but the fingers are much too thin and the tiniest blackerry and wild rose thorns stick right through. Ouch! Needs to have thicker leather in the fingers!
Comments about Rose Gloves:
they are very comfortable and are very breathable. I haven't felt any thorns thru them and love their flexability
Comments about Rose Gloves:
Used it to prune rose bushes

Comments about Rose Gloves:
All facets of growing roses; pruning, pinching buds after bloom. Keeps your arms safe from pricks.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
These gloves protect your hands and arms when you are working with prickly vines or rose bushes. Very comfortable and easy to maintain.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
I work with thorns and stickers everyday, but I never worry about getting pricked with these gloves. They are extremely durable, and are perfect to prune and weed hard to reach areas. There are beneficial bugs everywhere, but some sting when you cross their paths. I work along side them easily, because I know their stingers with not penetrate these gloves. A+!!
Comments about Rose Gloves:
My husband and I are clearing some land and I chose these as my Christmas present. I started using them the day after they arrived. I am no longer hesitant to tackle the wild thorned vines, wild rose bushes or blackberry canes. The protective padding has exceeded my expectations. Very smart idea to extend the sleeves up to the elbow. Great protection for my hands and forearms. With the cold weather, I have been able to use a thinsulate type glove under the rose glove to keep my hands warm......... On the top of my list for presents and for gardening !!
Comments about Rose Gloves:
When trimming roses it is wonderful not to have to be careful about getting poked by thorns!
Comments about Rose Gloves:
My old rose gloves wore out. These new ones are great because they cover the forearm. I am looking forward to using them on my roses, which I have been avoiding because of the thorns; but I have used them on the "picky" Christmas tree which has been a pleasure. The only drawback is that without a sizing chart I ordered a large so they are a little big.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
The thickness of the leather and the length of the arm protect your skin while working with roses or any thorned plant
Comments about Rose Gloves:
Comfortable; saves upper arms from sticky bushes.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
Much of my garden & "yard" involves thorns: roses, raspberries, hawthorn, yucca, cactus -- and then there are the weeds...
These have been great for just about everything, and the long cuffs are an extra bonus.
Unfortunately, they're not impervious to cactus.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
I got these gloves after experiencing problems with my skin coming in contact with weeds that I'm allergic to. My long sleeve shirt cuffs fit easily and comfortably inside the gloves so no more exposed bare skin.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
Almost impervious to thorns. Keeps your forearms from being scratched with working with sharp shrubbery.

I purchased a pair of these gloves for myself and loved them so much, I bought a pair for my Mom for Christmas this year. They are really hard to find so I was thrilled when I found them on Gardeners.com. They are of high quality and durability. A MUST HAVE for any rose gardner.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
I get really bad poisin ivy and since using these have not had an out break. Very good product

Comments about Rose Gloves:
I love these gloves. I used them in July to dig out shrubs. I didn't get all scratched up and I forgot they were the rose gloves that I was wearing (as opposed to short gloves) and dug in the dirt to pull out roots etc. I worked over five hours digging out roots and my hands didn't sweat even with it being hot outside. Washed up beautifully. Well made. Got another pair for a friend.

Comments about Rose Gloves:
These heavy-duty, well-made gloves are great for pruning overgrown, thorny rose bushes in your landscape. The extra length and thick suede material keep thorns from getting through to your skin on hands and arms. They are lightweight and do not feel heavy on your arms. Overall, excellent protection from nasty thorns and scratchy foliage.

Comments about Rose Gloves:
I use these all year round. Perfect for pruning roses. Great for picking fruit when the tree has thorns, ie: lemon trees.
Protects hands and arms very well. A bit warm in the summer but worth it. I have recommended this to other people who all love them.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
The One! These are by far and away the best gloves for rose pruning. Comfortable, easy to pull on & off and the thorns do not penetrate. I use lots of gardening gloves for different purposes, but these are the only pair I reach for to prune my roses.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
Bought for sister and niece who raise raspberries. They were tearing up their arms fighting with the bushes. They are both thrilled. You made me look GOOD.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
I have a Ponderosa lemon tree/bush that has 1 inch thorns. The lemons are as big as, or bigger than grapefruit. The gloves allow me to reach into the bush without getting stuck by a thorn and give me enough grip to pull a large lemon out.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
Bad smell compared to last pair I had. Maybe the material has a rubber content but not nearly as nice as the last all leather rose gloves I had.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
I bought these gloves to trim roses but found them helpful when trimming or harvesting anything prickly like citrus and cucumbers! They are light weight which is great in our hot weather.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
I also use these gloves when weeding a plant we have called Beggar's lice. Those nasty seeds cling to everything and the gloves really help keep them off of your arms.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
This product has saved my arms when working in and around my rose garden and when clearing out brambles. I can now do better work because I feel safer. The gloves fit and the cuffs cover my forearms.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
These work great for pruning prickly shrubs and for pulling weeds with stickers or anything troublesome growing around and in prickly plants.
Comments about Rose Gloves:
Although these gloves are a little pricey I wouldn't want to ever prune roses again without these on. They truly protect my hands and arms from thorns.

Comments about Rose Gloves:
My wife uses these Rose Gloves as her primary gardening gloves. She is very prone to insect bites, poison ivy, and other irritents to her skin. This is a great arm protection for her and ALWAYS relies on using just them. They tend to give off an odor when wet but hey, all leather gloves stink when one sweets in them.
