These cutting lines work great on the electric leaf shredder and are easy to replace. As with any line trimmer, they will need replacing with use but I have found them to be as durable as advertised.

I cannot imagine not having my leaf shredder, so these replacement lines are a must. These are easier to use than cutting my own from a coil, and seem to be of sturdier material. I DO wish there were more lines to a package, this would make them a better value.

If you have a line shredder for leaves and straw you need to have these precut lines. I had to do without with a previous shredder from [...] and cutting your own is too time consuming.

I've tried using the cheaper line that you get in rolls and found it to be a pain in the neck. Yes, this is more expensive but I'd rather pay the money and not have to deal with the hassles of the stuff that comes in rolls.

I have tried to use other types of material, including heavy duty weed wacker line, but you can't beat these for durability. I would like to get more at a time, as it's difficult to filter out sticks when I am using the leaf shredder - I go through a lot of these.... There's nothing worse than having a pile of leaves, and no cutting lines.

These are great to have a stash of, because if you're shredding a lot of leaves you'll need replacement lines. [...]I wonder if it wouldn't work as well simply to cut pieces of trimming line from an electric or gas trimmer.
