The blade could be a lot sharper, but I love the ergonomics of these scissors. They are far more useful than standard scissors, but with how dull the blade is, they might as well be several years old instead of recently purchased. If I could find a pair shaped like this but with a better blade, I would use these for household, not gardening.

I was looking for the perfect outdoor scissors to trim my hedges for little branches that I have missed with the hedge clippers. These are the perfect scissors. I also use them to trim branches off of my tomato plants.

These scissors are comfortable in the hand, and cut without a lot of effort. Not really intended for pruning, these are more of a utility scissor - will cut most anything you might use a knife or scissors for. From my use so far, the blade has remained very sharp, with no nicks or barbs from cutting light wire.

These scissors are fine for cutting rose bush branches, tomato vines, & squash vines. I tried using them on dead branches of Japonica which they worked ok but I would prefer a heavier tool. I like the fit in my hand, easy to clean & attractive appearance.

I have used these scissors to cut flowers, trim vines, and prune small branches. They're also handy for cutting wire, opening packages, etc. They truly have been all purpose with no signs of dulling. They are also easy to take apart for cleaning which keeps them ready for the next task.
