Even fully loaded with wood, this cart is remarkably well-balanced and easy to tip, turn and roll. Cross braces provide stability and the large pneumatic wheels glide over rough terrain and across door thresholds. Supports for wood are 14" apart; because wood is held above (not between) the wheels, this cart can accommodate longer pieces than most other carts.

Comments about Firewood Cart:
the wood cart has tires for any terain unfortunately the wood falls through the bars on the sides and the bottom. this makes loading time consuming to place the wood exactly between bars even then it slides through after careful stacking to full cart, wood falls off when moving cart and again while unloading.
It would be a great addition to put wire on sides and bottom for quicker loading, unloading and o allow debris to fall through.

Comments about Firewood Cart:
This has proved to be a great labor saver for me. I wish that I had gotten one of these years ago.
The only minor problem is logs that are shorter than the distance between the crossbars. I have to first place a layer of longer of logs that are longer than the distance between the crossbars.
Comments about Firewood Cart:
Handle is a bit too tall for me, thus, going over a step into house can be difficult. i do love the capacity and the ease of rolling but must be careful not to tip backwards.

Comments about Firewood Cart:
I bought this product specifically to replace the wheelbarrow that I had been using to move firewood from the woodshed to the woodrack next to my side door. I had to transport the wood down a fairly steep hill, and on snowy days, the whole process got more exciting than I liked.
Assembly of the product went smoothly -- all of the holes lined up perfectly, which is quite unusual in these types of things. Its a well thought out and produced product. My woodstove takes 16" logs and the width of the wood carrying area of the cart was 14". It was a little close, but it has not been a problem. A suggestion I might make to the manufacturer is to add another metal plate, to the wood carrying area to prevent problems with carrying short logs.
I could load the woodrack with three wheelbarrow loads, and this cart takes three loads also, so it has a very good capacity, and was a good replacement.
If I had to find something to complain about,it is that when I assembled it, the cart ended up slightly cockeyed. The problem is mine, I think. I should not have tightened down all the bolts until it was completely assembled, and then gone back and symmetrically (from side to side) tightened them. So, a new buyer should keep that in mind when assembling it. Also, the metal pieces have a very thin sheen of oil, so do not (as I did), assemble it in the living room. I don't have a wife, so no one yelled at me.

Simplified our trips to and from the wood pile and doubles as close to the house storage.

Comments about Firewood Cart:
Well here goes. I was hoping for a USA made product. I got a cheap Chinese version. The assembly hardware is cheap junk. I can see that unless this is stored inside it will be a rust bucket in say 2 years! Carries large amounts of wood well enough and the axle and tires seem competent. Hope it lasts longer than I think it will!

Comments about Firewood Cart:
Moving my wood for my wood stove is a two step process - one from the pile to the enclosed sun room to dry then one into the house. This cart makes the chore so easy. Across the rough lawn, up a slope, then two steps into the sun room. Then smooth enough to bring the wood into the house as needed. It carries the wood at a height that I am no longer straining my back or shoulders to move the wood and can carry more at a time than the old garden cart I used to use. It is stable and very hard to tip over. It was easy to put together and seems very durable.

Comments about Firewood Cart:
We don't use a great deal of wood so the firewood cart is perfect for bringing a nice pile of firewood from the outside pile and storing it in the sun porch without taking up a lot of space. Our wood stove holds small logs so we had to make a platform with old fence boards to keep the logs from falling through. Easy fix.

Comments about Firewood Cart:
I use the cart to move wood. Very easy to use and carry the wood. Small wood will fall through so the logs should be the width of the cart. It moves through the grass fine. Should have purchased it years ago.

Comments about Firewood Cart:
This is the only style I considered because it had the wood platform above the wheels, most other models out there do not offer this feature. I have an outdoor woodpile stored on my second story upstairs deck at my mountain cabin. I am a single woman who bought this big wheeled elevated cart to bring my wood up 2 long flight of stairs to my deck. So far it is still holding up after 8 trips fully loaded. Saved me loads of time and sure beats carrying wood in the box up those stairs. It is a great workout for ones abdominals too!! My only complaint is that it does not have a padded handle.

Comments about Firewood Cart:
I wanted something to carry firewood that would not contain a very heavy load and that would be easier to get up steps than a traditional wheelbarrow. This works.
