    I had looked forward to receiving this product. Although the beads are beautiful, the overall quality of the product is poor. When first assembling the top, 2 bead strings fell completely out. I was able to put them back into the solder joint, but the entire top was unbalanced. The beaded top is too heavy for the unit and the wiring gauge is too small to hold any shape. I was never able to get the nice visual display seen in the picture; instead all the strings fell mostly to one side. I tried installing it in my garden - thinking it needed to "stretch out" - but the unit leaned so badly it bent within an hour. I then tried using only the top piece, but one rain storm (within 2-3 days of placement) left the bottom of the unit with rust. When I removed it from the ground - the entire top beaded piece snapped at the solder joint.

    We put it in one of our raised beds and it shows itself off! One set of the arm/wires with beads broke in the wind (too much wind this year)!. I priced beads before purchasing this (as in make my own)and to get the variety that is on this item, you would spend a lot more money. We enjoy seeing it in the yard!

    I only recently put it up, so don't know how it will hold up over time. (I'll bring it in during the snowy winters.) The only thing i would suggest is a tighter fit for the decorative piece to the pole. But it hasn't fallen off, so it's ok. I think it is so pretty and makes me feel good seeing it in my garden.

    The beads are really beautiful, especially with the sun shining thru it, and it is very eye-catching from every viewpoint in the back yard. However, I had to re-order this product twice due to defective joinery on the main stem and this morning the beaded top completely broke off! Upon examination, the soldering done to join the beads onto its attaching tube was thin and easily broke. The beads are attached to a spring which sits down in this tube and then the tube slides over the stem (which goes into the ground). I'm going to try to permanently glue the spring to the inside of this tube to see if I can repair it myself. Otherwise, I'm returning it for a refund. The beaded top is very heavy, and sways in the wind, so this may account for the soldered joint breaking. Still... it should have held up longer than one week.

    Definately not the umbrella shape I was looking for, more like a one sided fireworks display. The glass beads are vibrant; however, the packaging makes the spray one sided. If you try to adjust the form, the metal will break due to the poor solder point. Much smaller than pictured.

    its a beautiful collection to my garden however, it doesn't sit evenly. we had to reshape some of the wire to make it look right. the wires hung more on one side than another making it look somewhat lopsided....my husband reshaped it.

    A friend had given me a very similar jeweled stake when I had my yard landscaped. It is colorful and FULL of the bright glass beads with a cute finial on the top. When I saw THIS item I thought it would be nice to add a few to the garden. Unfortunately, these are sparse in beads and get lost in the greenery. I placed them so that they could be seen---kind of---but I am less then thrilled.

    This is a fun item, pretty, but it is to heavy for the slim rod it comes on to support itself. It is also pretty pricey for what it actually is. Going to keep it as the kids love the colors but had to stake it to support it as the rod is to long to do a good job of that and not tilt no matter how well you attempt to put it in the ground. Seems it should be about half to three-fourths the cost for what it is. Definitely not something you leave out for winter!
