I placed these in a flower bed where I planted zinnia seeds. These will provide beauty and color until the zinnas grow and bloom. Then I will take then down and use again next year. I ordered the yellow, pink and purple. They are all beautiful, but the purple doesn't show up well at a distance. But the yellow and pink are spectacular. I haven't had them long enough to know how they will stand up to weather conditions. I am considering ordering more yellow and pink ones.

This was ordered as a gift and was sent directly to the recipient of the gift. I have not seen it in person. I was disappointed to find out that I could not order two different colors if I ordered the "set of two". A "set of two" meant only "one" color of Alliums. I love these "flowers". When flowers are done blooming, and I have an "empty" space, these fill it up deliciously! I have friends who see them from a distance think they are real. Added color to garden after some of my more vibrant blooms had passed. Be careful not to strip the screws when assembling stem. Already had pink alliums--no problems. However, blue alliums are just beginning to rust a bit in center after only a few weeks.

I have a new garden with plants too small to bloom well. These gave me instant beauty. My garden looks in bloom. I love them. They are well made. Only possible drawback. I have received several compliments on these. I would have actually returned them after the 2nd day had I not received so many compliments. After the 2nd day, several of the tines have rust on them. The directions say that they will weather and turn a rusty pantina. If I had known this beforehand, I would have NOT purchased them. Who wants a rusty allium in the yard? Not me. I have since sprayed them with a protective coating, but if they continue to rust I will return them.

I was so exicited about this product, but when I got it and put in my yard - did not like the color of the stems - looks tacky and family agrees. Although I like the tops and the colors of them, the stems should be brown or black I think. That bright green justs make them look cheap. These add a touch of brightness to my gardens. Our house is dark brown and these alliums contrast nicely with our house. They are very visible from a distance. In the midst of a stoned area, they were not easy to see, which is why I suggest providing a dark background, preferably foliage. I appreciated being warned that they will corrode, but I wish I had known that before I purchased them. The recipients were delighted with them.

This item was on my Christmas wish list. Upon opening my gift, I realized that the alliums were too cute to put in the garage til spring. These are great for adding a splash of color during our gray PNW winters. I plan on popping them in here and there in the spring where the late season plants leave holes. Then later I'll move them to where the early bloomers have seen their better days.
Time will tell how long they hold up, but I think they would look good rusty too.

These "flowers" ad a bit of zip to the garden. The small gold tips catch the sunlight and your eye. Good impact from curb and distance as well as close up. The height (2 different) is a good compliment too. Easy to put together and in the ground.

I loved the look of these but I am concerned about their long-range life. The flowers come in a hemisphere shape and the instructions tell you to pull some of the stems down to complete the sphere. They warn you not to bend the stems or the enamel coat will split and/or peel. But you have to bend them to get the shape. I carefully pulled and bent, but many of the stems are split near the core of the flower. My concern is whether or not the flowers will last or if they will rust where the inner wire is exposed. Only time will tell. But for now they look great and are larger than I envisioned.

Bought as a birthday gift for the wife, she loved them. They add color to her flower beds all summer and fall. The "prongs" that make up the flower trap leaves and have to be cleaned out to keep looking good.

I put the alliums on the side of my house where there are large green leafy plants. They are higher than the plans; therefore, very showy. (The gold tips really catch the sunlight. People have commented on how attractie they are. (I did spray them with a clear coat before putting outside to preserve the color.) I'll take them inside for the winter to be sure they'll sparkle again next year!

In any of the 3 colors, this unique garden art adds to the landscape. Blends in with bushes and other plantings but adds an element of surprise as well. Mine have lasted through the whole summer without fading, rusting, etc. and I plan to leave them out for the winter too. Well rec'd as gift to fellow gardener. A bit pricey but worth the $$.

After my lillies are done blooming and have been cut back, there was a lack of color in that area. I put the alliums in the lilly area and people comment on how pretty they are. They don't realize they are not real until they touch them. It has been so much fun!!!

These Everlasting Alliums are car stoppers. I ordered the pink ones back in May and had to wait until the end of July to receive them. Let me tell you THEY WERE WELL WORTH THE WAIT. They add a little sparkle to my flower garden and I have people asking me what kind of flowers I am growing in my garden. Cars are slowing down to get a closer look. If they are still available, I plan to order more.

These are wonderful. They look like real blooms from a short distance away. I have gotten lots of comment from all my neighbors and friends as to how beautiful they are - most thought they were real flowers until I told them otherwise. I have them in a shaded garden amongst the bleeding heart bushes where not much else is blooming right now besides the impatiens and they are providing a great boost of color. The metal alliums are in a rock garden surrounding the pool. I wanted color but nothing that would shed and blow into the water. The everlasting alliums are brightly colored and added the touch I was looking for. I do hope they are "everlasting" and will hold up to the strong Nevada sun!

Great design, material, and paint. Use extreme care bending the spikes into the ball shape. They will break if bent to quickly. Very colorful and really accent a yard or garden nicely.

I bought the yellow and purple and placed them in my flower beds. Most people weren't sure if they were real or not. They really add a nice pop in the mist of your flower beds. I just hope they hold up and don't start to rust or weather. Time will tell.
