    Comments about Solar Deck Light:

I have it on my outdoor deck, by the step up. It doesn't stay on long, only about 2-3 hours. The lite beam is not bright enough for what I wanted it to do. I'm at Hawaii, and we have alot of sunshine, but the solar doesn't keep for long at dark. I also thought it was 4 light disk, but its 4 light beams on one disk. I was disappointed.

    Comments about Solar Deck Light:

This light needs about 14+ hours of bright sunlight to turn itself on at dark, and then it runs for only 4 hours tops, so any latenight trips are in the dark. Solar batteries are still not up to the challenge. Best in areas which recived 300+ days of bright sunshine?

    Comments about Solar Deck Light:

A little hard to tell when you have turned it on--has a sensor so the light does not turn on in daylight and wear down the battery, and it turns on via a button, not an on/off switch, so you can't see if it is set on. But that is a nit, because after initial charging, you leave it on all the time anyway.

It charges fast, and the light is fairly bright. Nice looking, modern unit. Good choice on a walkway, porch or deck, or on top of posts.

Needs to be used on a broad flat surface--the lights shoot out horizontally from the sides and if you used in a garden, for example, plants along the side would block the light.

    Comments about Solar Deck Light:

This is a gift so I can't comment on the pros and cons listed. I did, however, misread the description and thought it was more lights, not 4 bulbs in one light. Therefore, I need to order at least one more to make it useful for my brother's front step. If I can't obtain another, I will need to return.

    Comments about Solar Deck Light:

They are nice looking and very easy to install , but the length of time the light shines on is very short. They do not shine all night , or even a large portion of the night and this is a serious limitation. I bought them for safety reasons and they do not fulfill that purpose to my expectations.

    Nice Looking Questionable Functionality
By NONEVerified Purchaser from Rockville MD & Brewster, MA on 9/19/2008
    Pros:

    Cons:
    Quality Needs improvement
    Best Uses:

    Comments about Solar Deck Light:

The four light ports are a bit impractical for walk way or steps. Two out of six fixtures I bought did not work. The low profile looks nice but difficult to capture sunlight if grass or bushes are nearby. This is not intended to be "inflammatory".

    Comments about Solar Deck Light:

Your product is beautiful as it illuminates. I have 3 steps up to the front door, I selected the product to light the way in the dark. My only dissapointment is that the ilumination does not last the night and only for a few hours, my other solar lights in the back garden do last the night and into the morning.

    Comments about Solar Deck Light:

I placed 19 of these lights on my front deck steps. Don't get discouraged if they don't all light even after setting them in the full sun for two days. By the 4-5 th day of sunlight they were all alit and even with our recent tropical storm thsy continued to remain lit. I have had many comments on how attractive they are not to mention my stairs ar no longer a threat in the dark.
