This didn't strengthen the corners of 24" raised bed using 12" corner connectors with 2"x12" boards as they are the same size as the connectors. They needed to be longer so they would connect two level to make the raised bed.

Comments about 12" Raised Bed Stakes, Set of 2:

Once we drilled 2 holes 6 and 3 inches from the end through both this stake and the corners/connectors, it was easy to screw them together and raise our bed to 24 inches high. Now, we can drive the scooter out to the beds and reach anywhere in the beds, so even the handicapped can now garden like everyone else!

I have arthritis so my husband has built raised beds to make it easier for me to garden. With the raised beds and the deluxe tractor scooter gardening is so easy for me now! Using the 12" raised be corners and in-line connectors, my husband was able to easily put together our raised bed (24 inches high using the 12" raised bed stakes) by himself in one afternoon.

Comments about 12" Raised Bed Stakes, Set of 2:

I ordered the 12" stakes to use with the 12" corners to create a 24" high raised bed. In hindsight I really needed the 12" stakes + 8" or 10" stakes (cannot use two 12" stakes for 24" high bed!). There should be a note when ordering stakes that advises what size stakes to use with each raised bed height.
As usual, the quality of the product is excellent.

Comments about 12" Raised Bed Stakes, Set of 2:

The stakes were a waste of money for us. The design didn't include a mechanism that would create a stop making it easy to use to raise the bed. Altogether they are a waste of time and money. I do not recommend them.

Comments about 12" Raised Bed Stakes, Set of 2:

You need these if you want a very deep, high raised bed made with the heavy metal raised bed corners. Very strong; I popped them into the raised bed corners of the lower bed and then lifted another bed, already made, on top, fitted the corners down and voila! a 20" deep bed that is soooo easy on the back - no bending, so easy to grow root crops like radishes and carrots. I may just make a few more....
The only con is that you have no idea how much soil it takes to fill a 4'x8' 20" deep bed!! But you can always use hay, newspaper, and other (organic) fillers the first year and then add more soil the second year when the fillers rot down - so you don't have to buy (and shovel!) all that soil in one year.

I've used over 40 of these raised bed corners and connectors to make tiered raised beds. They are very simple to use. The only issue I've had are that sometimes the corners haven't had all the holes pre-drilled.

Comments about 12" Raised Bed Stakes, Set of 2:

I used these in a couple of my raised bed corners for stabilization where my garound was less then level. I used a mallot and pounded them into the ground, instead of having the corners just sitting on top of the ground. Not too exciting but they work.I didn't use them to creat multi levels on my beds.

Comments about 12" Raised Bed Stakes, Set of 2:

The inline connectors and corner sets along with this set has enabled us to construct a raised bed that is deep enough to grow any crops we desire. Very sturdily constructed, clearly intended for years of usage. This raised bed system would be ideal for anyone who is worried about having to bend over to plant and weed, and harvest their gardens. WE LOVE IT!!!

Comments about 12" Raised Bed Stakes, Set of 2:

I made a raised bed near the side of the house. I was able to fence it better to protect my plants from the deer. Also so much easier to weed and it looks great. Everyone who has seen it loves the way it looks! It was so easy to put together and fill. Ease of construction was very important to my husband and I. The lumber yard cut the boards and we brought them home and put the bed together in the garage and carried the pieces to the site and popped it together and filled and planted. Love this!!! I am going to make another bed for my strawberries!

Best product I ever bought for raised bed corners works very well when you have more than 1 bed.
I have gone totaly to raised beds for all my gardening due to the wet soil where we live, used to be I could not plant my early garden until late May. With the raised bed system I can plant as early as weather permits.

I have made many (>10) 20-inch high beds. Using these with the corners makes it look great. As I said in my review of the corners, the key is to get things level and not screw in anything all the way until everything fits. And remember warped boards are your enemy!

Comments about 12" Raised Bed Stakes, Set of 2:

Comments about 12" Raised Bed Stakes, Set of 2:

This product is fabulous for stacking the raised bed brackets. the only problem was that the 12" length was a true measurement but the 8" brackets were less than 8" so we had to have them cut to provide equal support in stacking boards ( I used a machine shop to cut them). This product is still fantastic for stacking the brackets, very solid/sturdy.

Comments about 12" Raised Bed Stakes, Set of 2:

This product works well to add second level to raised beds, but in reality I feel you can just use a piece of wood/metal cut to right size.
