The RainDrain™ downspout diverter attaches right to the end of your downspout. When it rains, water pressure unrolls the vinyl coil disbursing water evenly through a series of perforations. When the rain stops, it recoils automatically. 46" long overall.

    Great concept, poor execution
By GreenThumbGalVerified Purchaser from Central Fla. on 7/10/2008
    Pros:
Blends in with gutters, Easy To Use
    Cons:
    Does not unroll
    Describe Yourself:
    Practical
    Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Comments about RainDrain™:

The spring coil in this product is so tight that the weight of water will not uncoil it properly. In turn, this causes it to release water very slowly, sometime taking a full day in which the dang thing is half-uncoiled (or less). Unless you have an extremely heavy rain, it does not work at all, and even then, it does not work well.
