Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
the shoes are nice they work great, but the only thing that upsetting is when you walk with the shoes on the straps works loose and you have to stop and pull them tight again, and it's time consuming.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
Very simple to use, get exercise snd aerate at the same time. Also very inexpensive. The sole itself is a bit bulky.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
They are a great idea, but they won't stay on; your shoes walk right out of them
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
I have a hard time keeping them on my small feet.
And I have fallen a few times when I get stuck in the dirt.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
I have found these too hard to use, they slip off my feet and I have a lot of difficulty walking with them.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
Use to aerate the lawn with out having to buy/rent expensive equipment.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
This year I started a new lawn from seed......this tool was safer than using a heavy machine to airate and supply deeper drainage for the developing roots. Also good when patching lawns and dead spots .
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
I can rake leaves while I am wearing my "new style shoes". It's great, especially when you have a big lawn like I do.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
Well these worked fine for me but my wife that is a small person had a very difficult time walking in them. Maybe that was her plan? To make them work correctly you need to "walk like a robot"
So I would say if you are more than 100 lbs and a shoe size bigger than a 5/6 you would be fine
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
They won't stay on even if strapped tightly to shoes. Very difficult to use.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
if you can keep them on your shoes, they do aerate the lawn. VERY difficult to walk

My 36 yr old son weighs over 200 lbs and couldn't get the spikes to go in the ground. Was total failure. Must use before ground gets too hard I guess.

A great product and easy to use an inexpensive way to maintain the lawn
I also bought your tomato trees that worked out great and made of top quality.

Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
I took a pair of boots and drilled one bolt through them. This way they stay on your shoe. The straps are a little week and if you are like me you don't have time to mess with items like this after you purchase it. I also used some heavy string. The spikes move too much for anyone strap. You defiantly need the screw or bolt. Make sure and use washers and flat head screws. I still would recommend this product if you have time to do this one thing. It really has loosened my yard up and the grass has taken off. I use them every time I mow my yard.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
I use this product to aerate my lawn. They are constructed very well, but I found them difficult to keep strapped to my feet. I need to think of a different strapping system.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
I'm still stuck on having the strapping stay attached when walking. I'm sure it's me!
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
I had a hard time keeping the sandals attached to my shoes.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
Sandals worked well but you must take very short steps so you can pull your feet straight up. The straps held firm for me but you must attach the strap to the buckle by inserting strap from under the center slot coming up and then down into the first slot. The directions are very poor and do not explain this.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
I was really looking forward to using the sandals, but they are heavy and hard to keep on your shoes. I think they need a strong fastener.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
Myself & others in the neighborhood tried to use these with no luck. The things work their way off your feet way too often. I was very disappointed. I realize they couldn't do a professional job, but I have a area in my yard that is not large that I'm trying to get grass to spread, thought this would help. Like I said, very disappointed.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
couldn't even put it together - ending up tossing it.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
I could not keep them on with tennis shoes---too hot to try boots. I will try in the fall.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
I would use this product if you were trying to aerate the soil without grass. Even with fresh cut grass, the spikes are not long enough to penatrate well into the soil. If the spikes were a little longer, it would be a very good product.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
They were a good gift idea and well liked by recepient. Too bad the strap broke the second time they were used.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
Got scratched a few times when putting the shoes together with the nails and nuts, but well worth it.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
Had to permanately attach to my shoes to keep them from slipping off on our hill. More difficult to use with rocky soil, but still work well.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
Great Product
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
This is a great product, from the first time I used it, I loved it.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
It was easy to assemble.
It didn't strap on to my shoes well. There was excess strap and it did not stay tight. Definitely better on a flat lawn.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
The sandals do a good job if they would just stay on better. They need a better way of attaching them to your shoes. They seem to loosen as you walk.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
I found these sandals very difficult to use. When I tried to walk in them, they stuck in the ground and/or pulled big chunks of dirt and grass out.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
Easy to wear as walking around the yard. It tends to pull up clumps of dirt while using.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
Don't like them at all. They do not fit everyone, so they do not stay on when using them. And they seem hard to use, but get good excersise when using them.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
I tried to use the sandals to aerate my lawn. I found the shoes once in the ground difficult to remove. It's like trying to pull your feet out of cement. The spikes also have a tendency to loosen while walking.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
These did the job, but were difficult to use.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
I have a pair of lawn aerator sandals and they are a useful tool in maintaining a green, healthy and organic lawn. Is a great way to get a work-out (kind of like walking in ankle deep snow). The sandles have allowed me to completely avoid the use of pesticides on my lawn.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
Good product. The straps are longer than needed; so a trim with scissors is needed. After cutting, however, the straps tend to "run" which I fixed by burning the edges with a lighter. It would be a better idea to have the straps made of some sort of strong latex material which would prevent slippage after a long period of usage.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
Not especially easy to use. I am a woman with average shoe size. The straps are positoned too far down the toe area so they easily slip off. Would probably fit a larger shoe size better.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
While it takes a little while to get the hang of how to walk in these "sandals", once you do it's a snap to aerate the entire lawn quickly. Be sure to securely tighten all of the nuts so you don't lose them - the spikes can turn sideways if they're not tight enough and that makes it difficult to continue to pick your feet up. The slower you walk and harder you step the better the results. Not the most stylish shoes in the closet - or the toolshed - but they really do the trick!
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
Took a little bit to figure out the straps but once you get it they're easy to use and do a good job of aerating the lawn.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
So, overall they're fine and they do work for shallow aerating if you're big enough. I'm 5'3" and 135 lbs and I felt that in the places that the grass needed the most help I wasn't heavy enough to make them go into the ground. That said, we had moved into a new house where the previous owners had not done anything other than water the lawn... so we really needed more "heavy duty" aerating than the shoes could provide. They were also pretty big for me.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
Hard to keep on feet for long periods and awkward to walk with them on. Need to have a walking stick to keep your balance.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
After putting this contraption together, I only needed to take a half dozen steps in it and I knew it would not work. I'm not a very big guy and the straps could not keep my shoes secured in the sandals. Don't even think of purchasing these sandals, unless you just want to throw $ down the drain.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
how does anyone keep them on???
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
Weight really matters...the more you weigh the easier to use. I'm a little lady so my husband now owns this job.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
The spikes are very sharp and will aerate almost any type of soil, but I am a Women's size 8, and they were WAY TOO BIG in length. This causes them to slip off because the front straps are too far up to the front. Even a man with large feet would have a problem. So use caution because when they slip off, you not only stick into the soil, but can hurt yourself if you land on one of those spikes!!!
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
The idea behind this product is good, but I had a hard time staying upright while wearing these lawn sandals. There was also the problem of getting stuck in the lawn. I never managed to aerate more than a small patch of lawn.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
iT DOES THE JOB
thE PROBLEM IS KEEPING THEM ON YOUR SHOWS.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
did not like this product
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
These worked well on a dry lawn. If the lawn was wet it would pull up clumps of grass. The straps are also set for a larger foot. I wear a size 9 1/2 woman's they were a little too big.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
Doesn't stay on shoes. Straps do not hold very well.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
I wish they came in a smaller size because I would have used them in my flower beds and veggie garden! Loved the idea, but they keep falling off my shoes!
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
I am over six feet tall and weigh around 190 pounds. I thought my ankles would snap before the spikes would go into the ground. I found this product worthless in Georgia Red Clay and I'm sorry I wasted my money.
Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
These strap on over your everyday shoes but they don't stay on very well. The straps need to be better engineered to stay on the shoe. Have to stop too often to readjust them.
