Some call it Little Boy Blue, for its entrancing color and petite size. At just 5 feet high, this lovely lilac is perfect for the smaller garden and produces fragrant, sky-blue blossoms in mid-season.

i won't know till next summer how it flowers because it was a little small with no blosoms. Picture of the color looks beautiful.[...] for the price it should of been a bigger plant. It only had one small branch with three leaves.

Purchased the plant as a Mother's Day Gift and delivery was delayed for 6 weeks and wanted to change the gift card to say "Happy Birthday" long before time for mailing.Wish I had been told that the plant was past blooming (am not a gardener and did not know that)as I would have chosen a different gift.I have ordered many things and been very satisfied but this one fell through the the 'crack' somehow. Seems sort of sad to send a plant that you have to wait a whole year to see bloom. My fault partially for not just cancelling the order and not noticing right away that delivery was so far off the mark.

My husband picked this lilac for its color. [...] The plant was not shipped bare-root as expected but came with a small rootball of soil and leaves - it wilted only BRIEFLY after transplant and is now settling in well. It has not flowered so I cannot comment on its color but it seems very hardy thus far.

Comments about Wonderblue Lilac:
This lilac came to me in spring as "bare root". I planted it the next day and it seemed so dead. I was a little concerned but after about ten days of watering and talking to it, finally there was some show of green. I think it is on the road to a beautiful life!!!
