Stylishly mark the straight edge of a pathway, flower border, or water feature with our natural River Stone Edging. River-smoothed stones are securely attached to foam backing. While competitors' mesh-backed stone borders allow weeds to sprout through, ours keeps weeds at bay and ensures easy upkeep. Tested in all weather conditions, these borders stand up to the elements.

  • A beautiful way to define a border or garden edge
  • Enhance your garden design with the natural appearance of stone
  • Note: Not for curved edges

I used the River Stone Edging next to my brick edging in a place where grass didn't grow well & hard to mow. I hope it "winters" well. It looks nice and I did trim it to fit.

I ordered both the edging and stepping stones. My only disappointment was the color...I needed the light color as pictured and what I received was charcoal gray. However, the product was too good to return. I like the natural stone.

Comments about River Stone Edging:

Very easy to install. I didn't have much trouble cutting the edging, but I did use a serrated knife to cut through the backing. It's very attractive, solves my problem and gives a nice tailored edge to my lawn/flower beds. I have already recommended it to friends.

Comments about River Stone Edging:

I almost returned the first eight because I wanted a white edging for the front yard, but I ended up ordering another eight pieces and extended a flower bed in the back. While they aren't very flexible, using several pieces allowed me to get a pleasantly curved edge.

Comments about River Stone Edging:

I love this edging because it's real, natural stone and looks great. It's easy to put down--just unroll. The mesh and thin foam backing are not visible. I used mine along three sides of a rose bed on the side of my house, laying a couple of large, flat stones on the ends to serve as a transition and an anchor (though anchoring isn't necessary). Although you can't curve this edging, you can cut the mesh between the stones with scissors; I cut a couple of pieces at an angle to form a wider-than-right-angle corner. The edging lies almost flush with the ground, so you can run the mower over it.

It does not bend around corners but I found it so easy to cut. I used a paver design around my corners and then used this on the straight sections. I back filled mine with paver sand and it looks really professional and nice.

Comments about River Stone Edging:

A great solution for landscaping and creating borders. I was pleased with the ease of installation, but disappointed in the color. The photo shows them as light-colored when, in fact, they are closer to a slate gray. Not a real big issue, but a disappointment none the less. I hope to use both the tiles and borders in further landscaping projects and recommend them.

Comments about River Stone Edging:

This river stone edging was perfect for what I used it for. I was putting up a 6 ft high full pole bamboo fence attached to a chain link fence. These bamboo fences are suppose to be off the ground. I decided this fence was to heavy to try and attache that way and was too heavy for the chain link. It is attached to the chain link and is sitting on the river stones and not on the ground. It looks beautiful! I bought the river stones on sale. They were very easy to install. Just level ground with leveler and roll them out. I am very pleased.

Comments about River Stone Edging:

for straight surfaces, it's great. However I had bought it to go around an oval bed that I have and with the stones on it, it just won't turn the corners. I like it because I don't have to worry about the lawn mower blowing the stones around, they stay in place. I wish that you made one similar that could be laid around oval beds. I have 2 oval beds, one is smaller which creates a smaller radius than the other one is larger, so, for the larger bed, if the ends of that one were bendable that would be great. If you have such a thing please notify me. Thanks

Wow!Finally a solution for the flower bed along the foundation of the house. Granted it works only along a straight line - it isn't flexible - but for my needs PERFECT...a wonderful border between grass and flower bed. I love it.

Comments about River Stone Edging:

Used as border on back garden over 110' long. Loved the ease in placing. Used area natural rock on one side to secure "in place" during mowing as well as to "hold" mulch in. Color actually a darker gray than pictured, but liked it better that way. Used pavers for curves.

Comments about River Stone Edging:

This edging looks really nice. I've had compliments about it, especially after I put black mulch in the garden behind it. It makes it very neat, which I like. It doesn't bend, but because it's on a web-type backing, I was able to cut and place around curves in my garden. You really can't tell that it's cut. I love it, just what I was looking for!

Comments about River Stone Edging:

These are great, and I have been replacing my brick borders around the yard with these! I have been installing this border this week and have been very happy with the product so far. I really love how durable the backing is. I have ordered the rubber walkways and found them to be very flimsy. I had no problem in that regard with this product. I was able to get this border to create a slight arch, but like it says in the description, it is meant for straight lines. I would give it 5 stars if there was a 'curved' version too. I would love to use them around the trees. I really love the low profile and the rocks are very attractive.

Comments about River Stone Edging:

I had been mulling over just how to finish off a border between my lawn and small flower bed in my backyard for quite some time. This edging, at 7', was the perfect length and seemed like a good and easy solution. And it was. This edging is very natural and attractive, made out of real stones which are glued onto a mesh backing, which can be trimmed with a scissors if necessary to make fit. Hopefully, the glue won't deteriorate and the stones won't fall off. It appears to be very well made. Be aware this edging is limited to straight edges and can get pretty pricey if you use it for long paths.

Comments about River Stone Edging:

This is a beautiful edge. I need more! The only problem I have had so far it that this is best used on straight applications. Very difficult to get it to go around a circle. But I may solve that problem soon. I have hope.
