Some arches are overly ornate showpieces, not well-suited to supporting plants. Ours retain the classic lines of Romanesque arches, but with a simpler, understated design that showcases your climbing plants. Open 4" lattice gives roses, clematis and morning glories plenty of places to vine and twine.

Comments about Jardin Romanesque Arch:

Should adequately support light-medium weight plants (clematis, morning glories). I would not put a heavy climbing rose on it.

Comments about Jardin Romanesque Arch:

I would have loved to own one of those gorgeous white wooden arbors for my yard but I did not have the $400 to spend on that. This seemed like an excellent alternative. I have not had it through a season or a winter as yet but so far so good. Easy to assemple and level out.

[...] I assembled it by myself. Even my husband liked it and he did not want to get one at first. It holds my very large Clematis well and straddles my sidewalk perfectly.

Comments about Jardin Romanesque Arch:

The arch is nicely sized, and the spacing of the wire "grid" (mesh?) on the sides will allow any kind of plant to gain a firm hold. The welds are solid, and it was easy to set up. Now, all we need is summer! Quite reasonably priced compared to other places who may offer something similar, but not the same good quality. Great purchase!

Comments about Jardin Romanesque Arch:

This arbor is a great value for the money. It's well made, easy to assemble and generously sized. I looked at a lot of arbors before placing my order, and this was the nicest option around -- so nice, in fact, that I ended up ordering a second one.

Comments about Jardin Romanesque Arch:

We were delighted when you began selling the steel Romanesque Arch this year. It was a better fit for our budget than the more expensive versions. As it was on backorder when i ordered it, we did not get it until late in the spring and we considered waiting until next year to put it up. The two clematis we have, however, have a tendency to take over the entire deck staircase so we decided to set it up anyway. We're glad we did not wait. As you can see from the pictures below, it did not hurt the clematis at all. In fact, the clematis took over the trellis in no time. We did not have to prune the plants this year; we just guided them onto the trellis. We had a breathtaking arch and the birds, bees and butterflies had a beautiful place to visit. The clematis were also very fragrant. Thank you for carrying this item. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a trellis/arch.

Comments about Jardin Romanesque Arch:

I used this arch as an entrance into my garden. I love the simple design, height and width. It looks great and I plan to grow clematis and morning glory on it. It would be nice if there was a gate available that would fit the arch (I need a gate to keep the deer out of my garden).
