I was very disappointed in these birdhouses. They were beautiful and attracted wrens immediately, but also immediately fell apart the first season........... not to be easily glued back together. I threw them away!

These bird houses started deteriorating in the first summer season. They were stored for the remainder of the year, but the decorations fell off, the wood roof warped and fell apart. They are really only useful for decorating purposes in an area protected from the weather. A very disappointing purchase. When I ordered them, they were not advertised or priced as 'factory seconds'.

Got this when it was first offered. I got the blue one and it looks so pretty in my garden. Just the perfect touch of color. The pole was wood and when screwed together, it was crooked and kept coming undone. I Superglued it and fixed that problem. The top is made of wood and after several years, the color is gone and the pieces are falling out. Still would buy another. Have it in the garage right now and am seriously considering regluing and painting the top. The rest is still in good condition.

I put 3 coats of polyureathane on mine prior to putting up. Only problem has been one shingle fell off. I have 3 wren families living in mine

I purchased these for decoration, but the birds were attracted to these right away - that's an added bonus for us. They have added a lot of color to our backyard and have drawn a lot of positive comments from my neighbors.

They were great the first summer, but a faded mess by the end. The birds weren't interested, which was ok by me, but the fading just rendered them useless for a second season. Too much money for something so temporary.

We have the light blue house, and it has lasted only one year. This spring, the house just fell apart, the roofing has come apart, and the house is not for outside use - which limits it's usefulness to the birds!

If you are looking for a decorative item, this is it. It is very cute. However, if you want to use it as a birdhouse out in the weather, unprotected, don't buy it. After a little over a month it started to warp and come apart. The paint began to peel. I would not recommend this item if you wish to use it as advertised.

I think I had this outside for a few weeks this summer and It was trashed. I even had it in the shade and all the paint was coming off.
Extremely unhappy.
If you buy it to keep in the house it's cute.

I have heard that these birdhouses do not stand up. However, mine are 2 years old and outside of lightly faded paint they have held up very well. All three have a regular family of wrens that live in them. I plan to buy another set.

This is a very pretty birdhouse and while the design is good and it did attract a family of wrens, the quality is quite poor. After the first season outdoors, the roof cracked, the paint peeled off, the perch split and fell off and the pole broke at the bottom. It looked very pretty the first 2 months but the paint faded very quickly and then it fell apart. The materials that this house is constructed from are not condusive to being outdoors nor is the paint that is used.

I couldn't resist purchasing one of these pretty little birdhouses. Unfortuantely, mine was rather flimsily put together (like with defective glue). Perhaps best used in non-extreme weather conditions. On a positive note, the pole is very nicely made.

This colorful birdhouse is a great addition to my perennial garden. Adds fanciful, yet practical interest. My garden is a haven for numerous birds and butterflies so this fits my style. It was in place after the spring nesting season, so we look forward to see nesting results in this new "house" next year. For a large garden, it would be terrific to have all three colors.

I am very disappointed in these birdhouses. Although the wrens tried to build in them - they started falling apart after a month or so. NOW - the roofs are falling apart, the platforms are separated and the poles are peeling. This seems to me to deserve a refund after buying the set and only using them a few months..........

Easy to assemble....in high wind it could topple...I used a piece of PVC and inbedded the PVC in concret and painted the PVC to match the pole and placed the pole inside the PVC...problem solved !

We bought this pretty birdhouse to go outside by my 92 year old mom's window. After the first small rain shower, the roof fell apart. It really is not made to be outside. I had to glue everything back on and repaint it. I won't buy the other two.

I saw this charming birdhouse and knew it belonged in the flowerbed I am making. It is made to be used by birds, but I plan to use it just for its good looks. I have other birdhouses that are already established for birds.
I've been waiting for cooler weather to work in the flowerbed. It is here this week and I am going to be out there making a spot for the pretty little house.

Two of the three bird houses lost had the roofs riped off in the rain. This was not a severe rainstorm. I would not recomment this product. I think you need to conduct a better quality control review on this product.

The birdhouse looks great in the garden, a very colorful accent. The roof did fall off, and I glued it back on. The directions also suggested painting it with outdoor paint. I would've thought an outdoor birdhouse would already be painted with durable outdoor paint.

This birdhouse started falling apart immediately. The front ring fell off within a month. The front decorative piece fell of shortly thereafter. It looked horrible after the first winter with the roof separting. If you buy this, I would definately take it in for the winter. On the plus side, it attracted a nest of house wrens, both the first and 2nd year.

this is a poorly built bird house that fell apart as we were taking it out of the box. since installing on the pole, pieces of the box have continued to fall off - don't waste your money on this cheap foreign import - I'm disappointed - usually your products have been prechecked and are of reputable quality.

I bought six of these birdhouses, one set of three for me and one set as a gift. They were very pretty in the yard at first, but within two months the roofs were falling apart on all of them. They are glued together, and apparently not with waterproof glue.

I was so excited in finally receiving the bird house as it was back ordered. When I took the bird house out of the box it looked beautiful. I did notice when reading the instructions the manufacturer recommended that if you are going to put this outside you needed to paint it with exterior paint. I put two coats of exterior verathane on it and so far so good. It rains alot where I live and also it is warm all the time and it has held up. Maybe that is because of the verathane. The reason I rated it Average is due to the extra work before putting outside.

This looked great, and the bright colors were the perfect touch. Unfortunately it began to lose shingles (glue melted) and paint cracked in a few weeks. Not up to the usual Gardener's Supply quality. I was very disappointed.

These are beautiful. The poles came in screw together parts. To make them different heights, I didn't use all the parts on one. No problem putting together. They are in full sun and we have had tons of rain this season, they are holding up nicely. I've had several people knock on my door to ask where I got them. I was lucky to receive them as a gift. They look awesome in my flower bed!!

Love the appearance of the bird house, however we are disappointed because the base of the house is coming apart which we don't think should have happened to an item that cost this much. Color faded on pole dramatically.

I couldn't wait to set my birdhouse out in the garden. It was a lovely accent - for a very short while. After every rainstorm, I found that the birdhouse and its pole had collapsed. Soon, I had to support it with another pole, and, then, I found pieces of the house strewn about the garden, as the glue began to dissolve. What a
disappointment to have to put the birdhouse out with the trash after just a few months!

My husband had ordered these for me as a Mother's Day gift, which had been backordered & we didn't receive until mid-june. I was so excited when I received them as I think they are adorable & really added color to my garden. Less than a month since we put them up, the glue which holds them together is melting & everyday I find more & more pieces falling off. Not one of them has survived.

It is very sweet. I love the design of the house and colors. I have a bird nesting in it now. I wish I had bought the set of three. The only con is that it does tilt as the stand seems somewhat unstable.

The item came with 56 inches of metal poles. Since you need to stabilize, you must go 24 deep. So guess what,you need to go a buy more poles. Since the poles are metric, you can't lock them on to anything in the stores. I doubt if the birdhouse will take the weather because it is held together with cheap brads and when the wood warps, I predict it will fall apart. I have 8 other bird houses out back all made in USA and the sides and roof are at least 1/2 inches think and screwed together.

I really love the birdhouse; very bright and colorful. Very well made. Since I plan to leave it out year-long, I'll probably act on the recommendation to spray the house with a paint protecting product. Haven't seen any birds go into it yet, but that's not a huge concern to me. If you like birdhouses, you'll probably love these!

I doubt that I will get more than 1 season's use - the plastic joints were useless in hot weather - caused the birdhouses to lean - had to reinforce them with steel re-bars. I had 3 birdhouses in all & they looked great in my flower beds, but to my disappointment, they are not holding up very well. I feel cheated.

love the look of the birdhouse but was disappointed in the construction. One screw provided was useless as the area to put the screwdriver in was blocked with metal filings. two of the other screws striped and broke off. Thankfully I had my own screws to put in their place. The pole was too short once it was staked in the ground. Not sure how long the paint will last. Price of item was not worth the lack of quality

SPRAY CLEAR COAT BEFORE YOU PUT IN THE YARD. MIGHT HELP WITH THE PEELING PAINT.

I immediately had problems with this birdhouse. It was unstable when mounted--had to use cement. The base separated from the house, the paint peeled, and the shingles are falling off-all within a few months. I was really disappointed. I wanted to buy all three colors.
