Although I have not put this item up, I am so looking forward to getting it out there for the birds and feel sure they will enjoy it as much as I'll enjoy seeing it up on my gardening shed wall in the yard. I purchased one for my sister also and she will put hers up on a tree in her yard and is also anxious for spring to roll around so she can see which birds will surely nest in it. Thank you for offering a very unique bird house option and for putting it on sale so that I could afford one for myself and for my sister!

The only problem I have with this birdhouse is the way to mount it. The back doesn't have a sure-fire way of keeping it so that it won't fall off the wall it is hung on. I'm going to use large rubber washers to help keep it secure.

I bought this as a gift, now I want one.

Having just returned from Colonial America and living in the Pacific Northwest out where birds are abundant I found this a perfect Christmas gift for my brother. Got one for me and my sister too. I have three of these bird bottles, which I first discovered in colonial Williamsburg,Virginia. My bottles always have tenants, who seem to feel safe in them and protected from wind, rain and snow. Friends love them and I have ordered these simple bird houses for them as well.
