Comments about Porcelain Birdfeeders, Set of 3:

I will use these small birdfeeders for decoration only. They are too small and too close to the ground for bird feeders. They are not squirrel proof and there is no place for the birds to "sit" while they are eating. I would recommend to a friend only if he or she understood they would not be practical birdfeeders.

    Best Uses:

    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Porcelain Birdfeeders, Set of 3:

The product is a very attractive lawn ornament, but not really a bird feeder. The ceramic figures are smaller than I expected and not really suited to holding bird seed. As a purely ornamental product, it is fine. The assembly required was difficult; perhaps one pole, rather than three pieces, would have made more sense.

I bought a set of these initially for myself and got such positive feedback from neighbors that I bought 4 more sets when they went on sale so I have them on hand to give as gifts. The original price is a little steep. The downside is that these feeders are not squirrel proof and the metal posts do bend and snap. Despite this, they are a lovely addition to my yard.

These are very difficult to assemble as the seed cups leave little room to reach in and tighen the bolt which attaches to the stand. But the birds immediately spotted it and started visiting. From scrub jays to a crazy big crow who had to keep flapping his wings to balance, this is a hit.

Comments about Porcelain Birdfeeders, Set of 3:

I love the fact that these feeders have attracted my adorable cardinals, but it would have been better if the pole that holds the little porceline bird would have been one solid ,thicker, pole, raher than three parts that screw together. The very first day I set them in my garden, somehow, something broke the pole midway where it connected and the screw was broken off and the pole was ruined.I used the existing pole that was still attached to the porceline bird and put that peice back in the ground where it had been.I imagine a squirrel coud have jumped on it or the brat next door threw a ball and maybe that broke it.It happened when I was not home. When I came home from work, the feeder was lying on the ground....the one pole peice sticking up...the bird porceline peice...lying on the ground. This happened to one of the other feeders, too.I still use them because I group two of them around my birdbath and it looks really neat, The other I placed in a shrub so the brat cannot throw a ball at it.

these feeders are adorable; I bought them for my boys to install in their small gardens. The problem is the birds have shown NO interest. I may not have placed them properly, or I'm using the wrong seed, but there weren't any instructions included that would have directed me with regards to this. I think they look great, I just would like to see them get used!
