Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
Very cute bird feeders. They instantly attracted finches & chickadees. The downside it that the mesh is slightly too big and allows for the seed to fall out easily.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
What a great gift for a bird loving friend! It looks great hanging outside and attracts the birds! Now, I want one for me!
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
Most peanut feeders are not attractive, but this not only provides peanuts to the birds, it looks great even when empty. I just got one for my neighbor, as she was admiring mine!
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
These looked so cute in the catalog I ordered a set as gifts. Was disappointed when they arrived to see their size. A serious bird feeder with a busy backyard would need to fill these daily. The lid is not easy to attach so I'm planning to return them and order a different product.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
It is attractive, but the top is hard to put back on at times. Its small size results in a need to frequently refill it.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
Read all the reviews before I purchased. So it was exactly what I expected. Empties fast, but looks really cute. Nice addition to garden decor.

Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
i loved this product when i first viewed it. i repeatedly filled it with walnuts and hung it. as i stated above, the lid would not stay on; the lid closure was a VERY poor design. it's now in the garage, unuseable. i won't order again from this site.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
I would suggest getting a few to hang. They look better

Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
This item is very small but attractive and cute
hanging outside my window. The problem is that it falls apart. The bottom cage comes off and all the seed falls to the ground. Had to alter it to keep it together with some wire.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
Birds really love this, great for sunflower seeds

Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
This feeder hangs on a tree outside my kitchen window, so it is enjoyable to look at. This is my second feeder, as the first one was stolen by a squirrel or raccoon. I'd recommend hanging this model high!
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
I bought one as a Christmas gift for a good friend who also likes to feed the birds. It is really cute but I would like to see a larger one. This one requires frequent refills.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
I like the looks of these birdfeeders and the birds seem to love them as well. The seed doesn't seem to get clogged in the bottom as in other feeders. The tops are a little hard to get on and off though, but once they're on they stay on.

Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
Attractive way to feeds burds durning the winter, but needed a minor adjustment to the swivel latch to keep the cage from detaching from the top.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
I have it hanging in the kitchen still, it's cute as an ornament too.

BIRDS LIKE IT BUT GOES EMPTY QUICKLY

Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
I was very disappointed with this product. The food slipped through, so I ended up using suet. (I already have a suet holder). Also, it was very difficult to twist the top part on. The squirrels got it the same day that I put it up, and now I have nothing but a hook hanging on a tree branch. I would not buy or recommend this product again. If I could get my money back, I would appreciate it, as I don't have an acorn bird feeder any longer.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
Product is convenient for feeding birds, discourages squirrels.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
For this very cold and most snowy season, this feeder, hung within our evergreen bushes outside our bedroom window, delighted the birds and us.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
Good although smaller than the picture makes it look
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
Unique and attractive.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
I love the appearance of the acorn feeder. However, it comes apart too easily and I usually find the bottom portion on the ground with the seeds spilled all over. Currently the top just twists on, which is not sturdy enough to hold it together. Somehow the latch needs to be improved so that it won't come apart.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
I thought I would love these, but they just don't work as anything other than art. The lids are poorly designed, so it is nearly impossible to attach them, and since the feeders hang from the lid piece, I spent all my time picking the feeder part off the ground - and wasting birdseed. The holes in the mesh are also quite large - you need corn/sunflower seed mix since everything else will fall right through. I gave up on trying to use these and just wired them shut to use as ornaments.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
I bought this as a gift and the recipient seemed quite pleased with it. I wish it was larger in size because I imagine it will have to be constantly refilled. There was more green patina on it than those in the website photos. I wasn't so pleased with that. Oak and acorn themed items are always a big hit with my family.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
It's very pretty and well-made, but the lid doesn't stay on. My husband bent the edge a bit and that helps. I considered sending it back, but couldn't find the return form, and the repair seems to have done the trick.

This was very easy to assemble. Looks very cute hanging on my porch.

Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
What an adorable addition to my feeder collection. It is indeed unique and does attract birds plus acrobatic squirrels but they cannot destroy this one.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
birds love it, and squirrels and bunnies love the "leftovers"

Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
I really like the looks of it and the idea. The lid is heavy and appears to be made well. However, the closure design doesn't work well and it has come apart and I have had to "make it work"

Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
Feeder is very cute hanging in our yard.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
The feeder is much too small, but unfortunately for me, I did not pay attention to size before I ordered it. It is hard to put the cap off and on. It is too small for most birds and difficult to feed from for the little birds.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
I was selective about where to hang it because I realized it would attract squirrels and might be knocked down. It worked very well on a hook by the garage, where I could see it easily, and attracted nuthatches, chickadees and the titmouse family as well as woodpeckers. Usually they get pushed aside by the larger birds. However I think a racoon detached it and ran off with the bottom.Which I found nearby. So I bring it in at night. The [...] advised the peanuts which work well.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
This is so lovely just hanging in the tree even when the feed runs out! It is made well, and has a "whimsy" quality about it.
It would be a perfect gift for a gardener who loves "art" in the garden, and any one who is a bird watcher. I love it. It is tooo cute!i definitely would buy this as a gift.

Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
Small but cute, unfortunately the feeder would not stay together once the seeds were added. A flimsy product, not well designed. Better for decorative use than actual use.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
I bought this bird feeder for sunflower seeds but the hole are too big, the wind blows them out.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
Love the acorn shape. Think the holes are a little large - sunflower seeds fall out of em.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
I am not sure what birds this should attract, but it doesn't hold enough grain for me to see what birds eat it. Probably the Red Winged Blackbirds that I am trying to discourage. It is difficult to open and close, and has to be re-filled too frequently.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
I like the feeder and the hanger and it looks great with my decor but it is not practical. It's supposed to be filled with sunflower seeds but they all fall thru the mesh. I thought it was larger but is my own fault, though, for not reading the fine print. The top won't stay on but I think I might fix that with a little wire. I think this is adorable and the materials are good quality with a nice patina but feeder needs to be redesigned and manufactured in larger sizes.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
Top of acorn difficult to put on bottom and very insecure. We put feeder out and "something" took bottom with seed. We never found the bottom. Bought another one because we loved the look and it was a gift to us. Trying to figure out how to secure the two parts before we hang it again. Needs to be fixed by you before I would recommend this product.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
The bird feeder has no place for birds to perch. Small birds can cling on but if filled with small seeds, they fall out. Sunflower seeds stay in but the small birds cant get at them. Received this as a gift but it was a waste of money.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
Cute but the top cover is poorly constructed and falls off when filled with bird food.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
Chickadees, nuthatches and woodpeckers are drawn to this feeder.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
I am always looking for ways to feed the birds that are not the traditional :bird feeder". This is right at the top of my list. Looks so good in my pine tree and matches a couple of antique iron pieces I have in my garden. I am thinking of purchasing another one.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
An attractive bird feeder for away from the pool and garden.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
use w/ my birdfeeder stand, but it is difficult to get the top to stay secure.....
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
The birds empty it very fast because it is small. I got it because I thought it looked bigger.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
This was a gift for my gardener acorn-loving sister. She loves it!
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
This turned out to be a great gift!
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
the basket does not tighten up enough it keeps falling off when the birds move it around when feeding i would not recomend this feeder to any one
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
Currently hanging with our other bird feeders; again would love a larger version of it. You have to fill it too often
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
Gave this item as a gift - and everyone thought it was very cool and unique. Shared your website with everyone in my family for a great place to go to check out some wonderful outdoor/gardening items you can't find anywhere else!
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
I purchased the feeder for a Christmas present, and the recipient was delighted.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
Much smaller then I pictured. The top doesn't really latch that tightly. I still think it's the cutes thing.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
Very disappointed considering the cost.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
This was smaller than I had expected it would be, but will work very nicely on one of the smaller ornamental trees in our yard, adding a discreet and charming touch of interest, while giving some smaller birds a feeding alternative slightly removed from the established feeding areas.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
I love the acorn shape. I was immediately attracted to the durability and aesthetic value of this feeder. However, I was shortsighted in reviewing the actual size of this item. It is almost too small to be functional. It is NOT squirrel-proof and requires constant refilling. Overall, it gets the job done for a short time but I wouldn't recommend this as your only feeder. As expected, it is only compatible with black oiler sunflower seeds or larger feeds. The wild bird mix slips right through the holes.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
My mother will be setting this up in her backyard for her birds.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
Bought this along with pinecone birdseed to give to a nature-loving neighbor. Now when the birds come along, I can enjoy them as well!
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
the bottom falls off easily when faced with a squirrel. A little wire solves the problem, attached to both sides.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
I really love the look of this feeder. As other's have written though, the lid does not stay on well, especially in windy conditions and necessitated my husband outfitting it with a set screw. I would hope that this will be addressed by the manufacturers. Other than that the birds are getting "the hang of it."
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
A nice addition to the garden.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
The only downfall is the birds empty it quickly. A larger size would be nice. This does look nice in the tree.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
It is a cute feeder, but smaller than I expected. I use it for peanut balls. The squirrels still get to the seed.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
I purchased the acorn bird feeder as a Christmas present. When I examined the feeder it appears to be very durable as well as attractive. My friend loves to bird watch, so I am hoping this attracive, unique feeder will fit the bill.

Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
The chipmonks attacked it; threw it to the ground, yet they could not get the top off.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
This is adorable -- and it makes a nice gift to pick up the spirits of our friends.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
Yes, the dimensions are listed but I guess I really expected it to be larger. The unit is well constructed and is aesthetic but my birds aren't touching it. I haven't given up on it and I expect it will work well for others.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
My backyard birds found this feeder immediately and one or more of them is nearly always there for a bite, so it's a great success. Also, its rustic look blends well with my garden. The only problem is that, for me, it is a little hard to get the top back on securely. But I love it anyway and would probably buy another.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
It looks cool, but after adding bird seed, it is hard to get the top back on. It is hard to match up the notches.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
This little bird feeder is great. The bluejays, chickadees, finches all love to hang off it and eat. The problem with this product is for the cost and the amount of birds you get - it is really too small. I hang mine from a bird feeder pole and looks tiny sitting out there. A grouping is nice, but would be better if for the same cost the acorn feeder is bigger.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
I love the look - it's unique! However, when the cover comes off, the entire bottom section falls to the graound and empties - somehow make the cover screw on better!
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
Ordered 2. One was VERY difficult to get the bottom off and the other was so loose that the bottom would fall off when larger birds sat on it. Needed to make some adjustments.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
The acorn seemed to have more of a green tone than it appeared on the web site and catalog. This was a gift for a nature lover - it looks really attractive in her yard. The peanut birdseed works really well.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
I didn't realize how tiny it was and if I had , I would have ordered three, but that would have been really expensive.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
just fill it with bird seed and hang it where it can be seen. what is great about it is its cute and attracts birds to the spot i wanted to watch the birds at. whats not so good is the squreels get to it.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
use for clinging birds, using shelled peanuts. looks good hanging from tree limb.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
The slot to hold the feeder is very small, with the possibility that bottom will fall off unexpectantly. Do not use with small seeds, only peanuts will do.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
Looks natural hanging.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
adds charm to my garden and looks good with the ohter feeders and birdbaths I have.

Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
It is cutesy but not very practical. It looks very nice hanging in the tree. It is not real easy to open and close so not as user friendly as it could be.
Comments about Acorn Birdfeeder:
This birdfeeder is much smaller than pictured. It is also very hard to open. It is cute but I would not purchase it again.
