This is by far the best bird feeder hanger I have ever owned. I had purchased one last year that had 2 prongs that had to be stuck in the ground. It was very difficult to anchor. Once I got it in the ground, I hung a plant on it and it bent. It was very flimsy. I haven't tried hanging a plant on this one, but it is so sturdy, I'm sure it can handle it. I have 1 birdfeeder that holds about 10 lbs of seed, a suet cake holder, and a smaller bird feeder that probably holds 3-4 lbs of seed. It holds up just fine, even with the unequal weights. I also love the screw in the ground bottom. Now I just need to purchase 1 more feeder for the 4th hanger!

From appearances this product appeared to be just what I was looking for, moderately priced, attractive and perfect for my uses. I needed a bird feeder station that I could put in a garden away form the house as the birds messed the house when bird feeders are too close.
However, after one days use, the pole bent, apparently under the weight of filled bird feeder and when I attempted to straighten it, the pole snapped at the base.

I thought the bird feeders attached in the picture came with the feeder and the squirrel guard and base were extra....apparently not. All that came was the pole and arms. I was disappointed . I thought for the price at least one feeder should have come with it. Picture and explanation were misleading.

I'm getting older and I can't see the birds at my older feeding station so I bought this feeding station and put it closer to the window. I put 4 feeders on it and the same day the birds found it. The only thing to improve my buying experienc would be if you would add a reminder to purchase a squirrel proof product on the same page as the feeder station is on. I forgot and had to go out an buy the baffle to squirrel proof it. But that wasn't your fault I never thought about it. Thank you Kerry J

Since our ground is all rock, and I can't use a bird feeder pole that has to screw into the ground, this patio base is the perfect answer - I can set it up anywhere I want and move it as I need.

I use this to hold a rather heavy wind chime that also has a solar light so it needed full sun. It is sturdy enough for the chime as well as a couple of feeders.

I have really enjoyed the bird station. I have added the squirrel baffle which really works. The squirrels are really baffled. I have added a dish with sunflower seeds and have attracted over a dozen doves at one time. I also have other feeders with different types of seeds, etc. to attract cardinals, wrens, chickadees, finches and woodpeckers. This has been a great source of entertainment for my family.

I have 4 feeders on the hooks and attract a large number of birds. I will probably have to buy the squirrel baffle, though - the climb right up to the top!

Very sturdy patio base - even two squirels don't tip it. I intend to use it for hanging baskets in the summer.

I'm glad to have a sturdy pole that will hold several bird feeders. Not only will it be more efficient to fill them, but I'll get lots of birds in one location. I did find it a bit trying to assemble.

Because my husband is a native Vermonter, I like to do business with Vermont companies whenever I can and I've always been happy with Gardeners' Supply.

I was a bit worried when I first ordered the birdfeeding station that it would tip over in our strong Iowa winds. It has stood up to everything our winter can throw at it -- wind, snow, rain, ice -- already, and I've only had it a month. A little pricey but worth every penny. Easy to hang and refill all kinds of feeders and no tipping problems.

We use this product as a multiple birdfeeder. We live in Southeastern Arizona and are starting to see more "snow birds" arrive. They are hungry little critters. It is so easy to place three-four feeders and just watch the birds eat for four days. It is a GREAT invention.

I have several new and old feeders hanging from this pole. I have the squirrel baffle, too. So far, only the birds have been feasting--squirrels and deer haven't bothered any of the feeders. So much fun to watch so many birds congregate in one area!!
