Even without suet or fruit, the birds were attracted to this wreath in the CO high country. I was placing it prior to hanging, and I was amazed at the pinion jays and hummingbirds who tried to immediately.

I bought this for my mom for Mother's Day and when it arrived and I opened it, it was so beautiful that I had to give it to her early. She keeps saying how much she loves it. I set this birdfeeder on a wall in my Preschool yard. The children and I have already put fruit on the pins for now that it's Spring. When winter comes again we will make suet balls and/or buy some. I found the quality of this wreath to be outstanding.

I had admired this wreath in the catalog for some time and finally bought two--one for me and one for a bird-feeding friend. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the construction and materials used to create the item. Even though it arrived in winter, I put it out in a sheltered position and have used it for providing fruit to the birds, and in spring I will switch to suet balls (also bought from the catalog). So far my pushy yard squirrels have left the wreath to the birds. I expect many resident and visiting birds to take advantage of it in spring.

This blends in well with any environment in the yard, and it keeps the squirrels at bay giving the birds in my yard a second place to eat in peace. I hung this on the barn wondering if I would be able to view it from house windows, and it is large enough that I can actually watch them feed.

Very durable and sturdy. Easy to hang, and serving of some fruit is a good compliment for your feeding schedules.

This metal wreath is placed on my patio wall. It is very attractive and functional, too. I like the idea that either suet balls can be used on the holders, or fresh fruit. The birds have been visiting ever since I hung it up. I put both fresh fruit and the suet ball on the wreath to draw different types of birds.

The suet balls are available from other sellers. Just do a web search. However, as it turns out, Gardeners is the least expensive. I am not able to compare the sizes of the balls, though. Also, you can make them on your own.

Nice wreath. The leaves are attached by wires that bend into shape, and I wonder if these might eventually break. The suet balls seem to by only sold by Gardeners Supply, not available anywhere else. Be careful where you hang it, birds are messy!

This is so pretty, all my neighbors comment. They joke that I have now set up a dessert bar for the birds I feed. I was worried that it was not squirrel proof, but my birds have been defending it, much to our amusement.

Finches love this wreath - they go through the oranges like mad! The skewers hold the oranges very securely. Our house is stained dark red so this wreath goes perfectly with it.

I hung this wreath on the back fence near all my other bird feeding menagerie. I had hoped to attract orioles. Turns out the squirrels love apples and oranges too! No matter, the wreath is well constructed and as nice as the photograph. It is worth the money I paid for it.

I have this item hung on our trellis. I can see it from my kitchen window, so it lets me enjoy bird watching. We feed ALOT of animals in our backyard, and this has just added another benefit for me, and our birds!

I'd been looking for a decorative wall-hung multiple tea-light holder to add soft ambiance to my bathroom while taking a relaxing bath. When I saw this charming wreath with its clay birds and leaves, and open shallow cups (for suet balls), I knew I had found the perfect tea light holder!

Each cup has a small spike at the bottom to secure the suet ball. I popped these off easily with a wire cutter/end snipper. And to prevent any drippage (through the wire cups), I'm placing the tea lights in glass tea light cups first.

The wreath is light weight and very easy to hang with a simple nail or picture hanger. I looks lovely serving this new purpose. I also think it would make a lousy bird feeder.

It's definately not squirrel-proof, and would make a greasy mess on any deck and siding where it would be used.

Go for the indoor use, and be charmed!

I make my own suet, so this feeder allows me to offer different types of suet on the same feeder. To date, the birds seem to enjoy this varied menu.
I am trying to "squirrel-proof" this feeder since this areahas a high population of these critters.

The wreath is as attractive in reality as it is in the picture. We have it hanging on a privacy fence and it looks very good against the wood. It did begin to show a little rust after a heavy rain, so I sprayed it with an acrylic spray to protect the finish. btw, if you don't want to buy the round suet balls, regular suet cakes can be cut into small squares and used on the wreath.
