I like that it came with it's own mounting pole and that I can put it anywhere. I don't like that the pole is made from untreated wood- it will rot in no time.

    Comments about Covered Birdfeeder:

The squirrels had a great time climbing up the pole. They ate through the plastic container that contained the bird seed. I believe this product needs a baffel below the feeder to ward off the squirrels. I am really upset that I paid a good deal of money for something that I thought would keep the squirrels away and instead the squirrels trashed it. I will have to look for something better.

    Comments about Covered Birdfeeder:

I was very enthusiastic about this birdfeeder. Unfortunately, not only am I disappointed with the product, I am quite angry. It is put together very cheaply and the pole that attaches to the actual birdfeeder, while easily assembled, is poorly crafted and ill fitting. I was duped, and as a result, will have third thoughts before I purchase anything else from Gardener's Supply Company. I am interested to see if anyone from Gardener's Supply will now contact me.

The bird feeder is cheaply made of mostly plastic, the wood pole is in sections, and after joined it still tends to curve and lean over, especially if a squirrel tries to feed
