Located in: Yard & Landscaping, Backyard Birding, Birdfeeders
You'll like the leaf adornments on this birdfeeder, but greedy squirrels won't! Their weight makes the spring- loaded leaves slam shut over the six feeding ports. Squirrels can't get in through the spring-fastened top, either.

  • Squirrel's weight makes the spring-loaded leaf close over the feeding port
  • Large capacity—holds nearly 3-1/2 lbs of seed

    Comments about Squirrel-B-Gone™ Feeder:

This feeder worked for nine months to a year before the squirrels figured out how to get into it. I replaced it with the same model, but that didn't last a week after they had conquered it.

Attractive bird feeder but the squirrels chewed through the thin plastic and made holes to eat the bird seed. Waste of money and birdseed.

Very nice feeder. I've seen many squirrels give up once they jump on the feeder. The only con is I found the exact feeder locally for half the price. Oh well, I still love it.

    Comments about Squirrel-B-Gone™ Feeder:

I bought one of these from you last year. For a number of months it worked fine and no squirrels were able to get in. Then they worked out the details and would pry off the cap which unhooked the little springs and allowed them access. I rehooked the springs and put the cover back on a number of times but they always got back into it. I figure it is because our squirrels are more intelligent than yours. After all, we do have Harvard, MIT....(I have ranked it unstable because of the propensity for the springs to come off when challenged by smart squirrels.)

    Comments about Squirrel-B-Gone™ Feeder:

We have enjoyed watching the squirrels try to beat the system and break into your feeder. They have failed 100% of the time. It is great. We have other feeders that are not squirrel proof and when the critters empty them there is still food for the birds in your feeder. I love it. Only downfall is larger birds are unable to feed at the level of protections I have it set at.

    Comments about Squirrel-B-Gone™ Feeder:

Wonderful product! nothing is 100% squirrel proof but this comes closest. Squirrels are persistent and keep jumping on it and over time stretch and break the springs. Even so, this is the closest I've come to a squirrel proof feeder. I buy 2 at a time, so I have a spare when the springs break or stretch out on the one that I'm using.
