    I hung this on a pole protected by a squirrel baffle so it was squirrel proof. Nuthatches, chickadees, finches & woodpeckers ate sunflower seeds from the chimney, but ignored the millet roof. Therefore it took up valuable protected space for feeding birds, but was underutilized. It does, however, make a charming lawn ornament in winter and I view it as such rather than a bird feeder.

    I put this out where flocks of birds come to feed. Non of the birds fed on this. Some used it as a perch to reach other feeders, but not many. It has been in the same place for a month now and has gotten no attention from the many kinds of birds that come to my feeders. Very diappointed.

    I was so disappointed with this birdfeeder. it looked so nice in the picture. I was so excited about giving this to my brother and when he opened it we both looked at it with shock. He said is it a loaf of bread? I was embarrassed and disappointed.

    One of the millet stalks came off in shipment - I just glued it back on with some wood glue and it was good as gold. The birds love it and I love it that you can just replenish the birdseed and keep enjoying the birds.

    Purchased this for my mother as a unique bird house to add to her collection. The house is cute, albeit small, but I can't imagine that a bid could actually go inside the house. I do not think that is the intent. The chimney is made of wire and the sunflower seeds that came with it fell right through the holes. No instructions were included in the package on reuse, although that was one reason I bought it. Look for something else.

    This house looks better in the picture than it is.
    It is very small and too fragile to be shipped. Logs were bare and some were only half pieces. If a larger bird happens to land on it ( dove or blue jay) it will probably not hold their weight.

    The best thing is that the birds will eat everything on it. The worst is that it looks cheap;the bird hole is too small for the birds. The String that holds the bird house is flimsy and might break.
