    Comments about Antiqued Clay Birdbath:

great as a decoration, or nestled in the grass with some bluebonnets. but this 'birdbath' does not retain water.... so it is half of what it is touted as. notice that all the reviewers who gave it a positive review were only commenting on the looks, or they had given it away as a gift, or they had put it away to be used later. the negative reviews all commented on lack of water retention. so be aware, you will be filling it all the time.

    Comments about Antiqued Clay Birdbath:

This birdbath is just adorable and looks as if it's been around for a hundred years. It's perfect for what I want: to put it among my potted flowers for some added interest. And the price can't be beat. (It also arrived in perfect condition, which I was a little bit concerned about since it is made of stone.) I would absolutely recommend this product.

    sloppy workmanship
    By 54PeoniesVerified Purchaser from wheaton,il on 3/7/2009
    Pros:
    Sturdy
    Cons:
    Poorly assembled
    Best Uses:
    Backyard
    Describe Yourself:
    Midrange Shopper
    Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Comments about Antiqued Clay Birdbath:

Photo'd item did not bear the sloppy adhesive pad at the base of the two birds that the item I received does. Adhesive is yellowish, not grey to blend with faux stone color. So it appears the birds are fouling the water in the shell. Bird forms are also poorly formed with less detail that suggested by the photo.

    Best Uses:
    None

    Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Comments about Antiqued Clay Birdbath:

I guess I should have known better, but I will never buy from you again. The bird bath is chipped and falling apart and I've had it a very short time. A lot of the white paint is gone and the brick underneath is crumbling. No, I have not dropped it, abused it, or attacked it. Obviously this bird bath was never intended to be used outdoors.

    Comments about Antiqued Clay Birdbath:

I will use this as a birdbath, but also as a landscape item. I think this will look very nice in the flower bed (when it warms up) surronded by colorful flowers and ground cover. The antique look will fit in as an older item laying in the bed. It looks as if it is good quality, but since it is winter right now, not sure about it's functionality as a bird bath or if it will attract the birds from where I place it. I am thinking about ordering one for my mother as well for dual purposes.

I will use this item for landscaping and functional use as a birdbath. It is small but not too small and looks great surrounded by flowers. I think the birds will love it when they find it this spring in my flowerbed. Appears to be nice quality and is made to look "old". Can't wait for spring.
