Cute, easy to hang, but the birds prefer to build their own nests in the trees.
Comments about Roosting Pocket Village:
The roosting pockets look great in my curly willow hedge. They are light enough for most any branch. So natural, I love them!
Comments about Roosting Pocket Village:
While these looked really cute hanging in my yard, I didn't see a single bird go in one. The entry holes on two of the houses seemed too small for most of the songbirds I have in this area. I would recommend that you buy or build a good basic wooden birdhouse instead.
Comments about Roosting Pocket Village:
I hung them in the trees and the birds avoided them like the plague.
Comments about Roosting Pocket Village:
They look great hanging from the trees in my yard and the birds appreciate them in the winter.
Comments about Roosting Pocket Village:
We had birds nest in two of the three of the pockets we hung. The third may just be in a bad location so moving it next year may help.
Comments about Roosting Pocket Village:
Very cute hanging amid the trees.
Comments about Roosting Pocket Village:
I really couldn't see any indication that any birds used these items, much to my disappointment.
Comments about Roosting Pocket Village:
I put them in the surrounding trees. Although no nesters, they were welcomed during the frigid winter.
Comments about Roosting Pocket Village:
Very cute, I get compliments all the time. They don't really attract any birds in our urban setting, but they are great for decoration in the trees.

Hang from a shepherd's hook ~ put near a suet ball ~ or near the bird bath ~ add colorful string/thread that can be taken by birds ~

The bird houses look great even after a Colorado winter. They add a nice natural yet practical touch to the backyard. They have withstood high winds, hard rains, and even squirrel inspections.
Comments about Roosting Pocket Village:
I have not seen any birds use this bird house.

I originally bought them for their advertised purpose...little nesting village. But when I received them, I just couldn't put them outside! They're too cute! So, instead, they decorate my sunroom.

I put these little woven houses in my trees last summer and noticed several chickadees using them during our very cold winter.

These are adorable and greatly appreciated by the birds.

I love form and function and these delightful roosting pockets fit the bill! They're lovely to look at hanging from the pergola, trees or deck and are used by the birds year 'round. It's a win-win situation for everyone!

I have not found a thing about the Bird Pockets that I don't like. The birds love the natural materials. I have two of them up under the eves of my barn shaped shed that give a lot of shelter. The chickadees and wrens, in paticular, use them in the winter and bad weather to roost and in the spring and early summer to nest. It is so much fun watching mama bird go in and out to feed the baby birds and a real joy to watch the babies make their first flights. This is a product that is well worth the money for my pleasure and the comfort for the birds.

The pockets look attractive hanging in the trees, but the birds evidently don't think so. At least they ignore them. I am finding the one of the pockets is coming unraveled. I would recommend the pockets, but with a suggestion that they be placed in a secluded area.

I threw one away, hung the other 2 in a patio tree. Holes too small for anything to get in. They were not as shown in photo.
