I live in a micro-climate on the Central Coast of California that goes to triple digits in the summer...this is a superb product for areas that are hot!!!! My Coleus', Geraniums & Asparagus Ferns look fabulous...and have NEVER wilted or drooped with average waterings.

We purchased this product due to a polite recommendation from the on line salesperson that took our order. She described the probability of the pot drying out because of nature of it hanging on a railing. We mixed this product with our own peat and black dirt and the flowers are flourishing and have not had the soaking/drying out cycles most summer pots go through. The dirt holds moisture very well.

I used this container mix in my new self-watering whiskey barrel. It gets hot and dry in Texas, but my plants have plenty of moisture and are thriving!

I live in the desert. I usually have to water my potted plants daily. This has decreased my watering frequency. Love it!

Comments about Drought-Resistant Container Mix:
This is the first year I've used this product. The plants in my pots/planters are responding extremely well. Because the location is quite sunny & can be very hot, I like the knowledge that the plants will not be as likely to dry out so quickly & suffer from lack of moisture.

The soil was used in planters on a deck that gets a lot of sun. The flowers have done extremely well and the veggies...lettuce and chard planted in pots have done well too.
Comments about Drought-Resistant Container Mix:
This mix is very helpful in large containers on my deck.

I was so surprised to see how fast everything grew. Was using it for my Calla Lily bulbs that had started to sprout. They grew so fast they beat the outdoor planting time so i had to put in bigger pots till i can get them oudoors. Will use it outside in the garden as soon as i can.. Am going to put it in my Window boxes i purchased from you.

I am hoping to let my garden club members know that we need to use this product in our potted herbs this summer.

The place I use the soil in is in the sunny. With plain old top soil, the flowers had to be watered twice a day. Now once a day or even every other day

I love it for my planters, if it had even more crystals it would be perfect. But it is really good anyways and it worth the price.
Comments about Drought-Resistant Container Mix:
It packs down quite a bit.
You use more than you expect to.

Not only are we having a major drought this year, but we use this product mainly in small planter boxes that decorate a fence in sunny, high-wind area. Never thought those plants would survive, but they are thriving in this container mix. Best buy of the year!

I have a weekend house and am not available to water all week. This soil mix is perfect for me and the flowers look great.

foung this to be great for hanging planters
Comments about Drought-Resistant Container Mix:
I don't like this soil at all. It had so many twigs and other trash items that had to be picked out of the soil as you were planting a plant. This type of soil would be fine for large plants that already have an established root system but for small plants, it would be difficult for their root systems to get started if the twigs, etc. were left in the soil. Use of it was additional chore to planting plants.
Comments about Drought-Resistant Container Mix:
I used this mix in a large pot in which I planted 2 tomato plants. They seem to be triving.
One plant, a volunteer that grew in my office, is especially heathly with plenty of fruit.
Comments about Drought-Resistant Container Mix:
I use this soil in all my potted plants and outdoor planters. Plants grow faster because of consistant moisture levels. Greatly reduces watering need for indoor plants.
Comments about Drought-Resistant Container Mix:
This product is recommended for use wit the living walls. Sharp drainage is needed for the types of plants used in these walls, so I would not recommend this soil for that application.
Comments about Drought-Resistant Container Mix:
I use this product in containers as it is light and retains water well.

I am learning about container gardening after moving from a home to an apt. Am trying mini ponds & bogs, self watering plant containers, & having great success with your products.
Comments about Drought-Resistant Container Mix:
Loved this soil! So different from so many other soil concoctions that are hard to wet. I loved the way it felt in my hands as I was mixing it. I think anything would grow well in it.
Comments about Drought-Resistant Container Mix:
I grow perennials in containers where the wind blows a lot, drying the soil out. This Drought Resistant Container Mix holds moisture longer than other polymer products I have used. It saves on water, watering time, and conserves the nutrients for the plants use. I have converted all my containers to this mix. Thanks, Gardner's Supply!!!
Comments about Drought-Resistant Container Mix:
This is a very good idea and probably sufficient for areas with summer humidity. However, for an exteremely arid and intensely sunny climate like that in Colorado, there is still not enough water absorbing benefit. I had to add more water absorbing crystals to get the results I needed.

This stuff is great if you're like me and forget to water the poor container plants in this summer heat!
