These casters were very hard to install. I had to use a hammer and chisel. The chisel to bypass the wheels to set the casters. They do an excellent job on the self watering planter.

I really can't imagine getting the self-watering patio planter without these casters. It makes it so easy to roll from place to place - I've got great lettuce growing even in summers midst because I can roll the plants to shade during the hottest parts of the day. They were simple to install and work without problem

The wheels are easy to install once you find the grove they fit into. I was even able to install them with a plant and dirt in the planter already. They roll well over cemet and bricks, though not so well over rocks but that is as to be expected.

If you are getting the self-watering planter this is a must have. Once you add dirt, plants and water the planter is quite heavy. The casters make it easy to move around the patio.

The fabric is lightweight enough that it doesn't squash the plants, but it's also easily moved by the wind. I'm using it over the raised patio bed on casters so it's hard to keep down. But is has been good protection from the wildlife.

The catalog states that you need 4 casters for the big 36" raised bed planters, but you need 16 for each planter, which is pretty nuts and expensive!!! The casters are small, and if they were bigger, it would roll easier, but they do work. Wouldn't buy the planter without the casters!

i bought 4 sets for a large self watering raised bed. these should be considered a must for this item. i just don't know how i'd move the planter without them. it made it super easy so my planter is mobile and i can move it out of the way when needed.

These are great accessories if you need your planter to be mobile. But BEWARE: Since they offer these for many different models, be sure that you understand how many wheels your product will need, because it is not very obvious. I purchased the optional set of casters for my planter assuming that I would get the amount required, only to find out that my style required (4) SETS of casters.

For larger planters, these wheels are an absolute must. The large planters are LARGE, and moving them when filled with dirt and plants is not easy. These wheels fit nicely, where easily assembled, and make moving the planters for cleaning or any other reason a pleasure.

I bought the large 3' x 3' planter. It would be a nightmare without the casters. But you need a lot of them - 16! The casters work very well and I would not want this planter without them. I've only had this planter for a few weeks, so I cannot comment yet on durability, etc. of the casters. They were very easy to install though. My only comment is you need to realize the price of the casters when you purchase a planter. I ended up paying more for the entire package that I originally expected. But so far, I'm very happy with the results even though I did not originally realize I would need 16 casters for this planter.

We use these casters on the Terazza Trough Planters. They allow us to move the planters around on our deck. Although the casters are small, they seem to hold up well. Please note that we are using them on a smooth surface. I don't know how well they would work on uneven surfaces like bricks or cobblestones.

I purchased four large planters, and two will not get enough sun. Because I bought the castors, I can rotate the two form the shadier location inot the sunnier place. Also, it makes it easy to keep my deck clean and rot free underneath the planters.

Planters are heavy filled with dirt and water. These castors work wonderfully. Note that if you get the Terrazzo Trough planters, you will need 2 sets of 4 for a total of 8 casters.

The casters are a great addition to the terrazzo planter if you might want to roll it around. It's way too heavy to move once the soil and water are in. But my deck isn't level and you can't level the planter with the casters on. So the water rushed out one end when I started to fill the planter. I took the casters off and used the legs to level the planter and then it was fine. It was no big deal because I'll never want to move the planter around anyway.

I used the Tomato Success kits last year without the casters and knew I wanted them this year. (The planters were heavy.) I work with developmentally disabled adults and moving large planters outdoors is very difficult. The casters have made our raised bed garden area a breeze. We can now change our garden by simply rolling the troughs into different groups and areas. These are a must if you are have any physical limitations or are just plain laze.
