The grape color is very attractive and love the look on our deck railing. We have had lots of rain so haven't been able to test how it works yet. Seems to drain well. Really like the idea of knowing just when to water by the gauge. Our deck gets very hot in summer so anxious to see how it really works later this year.

For the price there should be better directions and the cover for the watering "tube" is odd and difficult to use. The lilac color is wonderful - I only wish you had hanging baskets to coordinate with it.

I like the self watering feature and the pop up water gauge.It also holds plenty of container mix for all the plants I want to put in them.I am very satisfied with these planters.

The English instructions do not tell you how to assemble the fill tube and float. The instructions for that are only in German. It's not immediately obvious that the parts are under the grating.
Otherwise, the boxes are solid and better made than similiar products I've purchases at the big-box stores.
