Comments about Square Foot Success Kit:

I need to try tomatoes in "pots" because there aren't any beds in the sunniest spots of our property.

These pots aren't so large that I can't handle them.

I like using "fresh" soil each year.

Comments about Square Foot Success Kit:

Used for 1 of 5 tomato plants- 2 others using topsy turvy and 2 in regular containers. This out preformed the regular pots and both the topsy turvys! Very surprised to get my first flowers and tomatoes with this product. Will buy for other vegetables, too. One complaint is that I had to go out and buy a taller cage to use with it.

This is an amazing product, and I hope Gardeners continue to carry SF Success Kit. What an opportune time to get a few more now that it is on sale.

I own 4 now, and I will not grow my peppers in regular pots anymore! It's perfect for eggplants as well.

I have one tomato in a SF Success Kit, and at the rate my tomato is growing it will outgrow the planter in no time.

Badly designed two piece water level. Falls apart very easily. The water level should be one piece.
This self watering planter works very well and keeps the soil moist, even on the hottest days we have had so far this summer.

Comments about Square Foot Success Kit:

I planted 10 container tomato plants this year in a variety of 4 to 6 gallon pots. They're all outside in the same sunny spot. The Sausage tomato I'm growing in the square foot success kit is bigger than any of my other plants and has twice as many tomatoes growing on it than all 9 other tomato plants *combined*. And even in 100 degree heat, it doesn't droop as badly as my other plants. I'm definitely using more of these containers in the future.

Comments about Square Foot Success Kit:

I have 6 Tomato Success Kits (and love them, by the way). Needed something smaller for heirloom sweet peppers, and this is it. I live in the high desert of New Mexico, and growing is a challenge here. I needed reliable, self-watering containers to protect my favorite babies (the ones in the main garden are constantly under attack from blazing sun, blasting wind, hail, late/early frosts, and hordes of grasshoppers). These Square Foot Kits are the perfect size for my peppers, keep them safe and mobile on my porch (can move them to protection during wind or hailstorms) and are a great value. Peppers are doing beautifully, and I'm extremely happy. These dry out much more quickly than the Tomato Success Kits (not a complaint) due to the lack of red mulch in the kit (added my own) and a small reservoir, but that's not a major issue. Very happy and am recommending to all the gardeners I know in this area. Thank you!
