    Comments about Self-Watering Trellis Planters:

When I first received this product, I was a little skeptical. It seemed kind of cheaply made and a bit too simplistic. After I assembled it and started using it, I realized it really does self-water and my plants are thriving.

    Comments about Self-Watering Trellis Planters:

Great for low growing annuals with a vine (moonflower) growing up the side. I planted cucumbers and the vines climbed and all was well untill the thunderstorms started. Mine is on the patio and had to be secured. Looks good and does what you promise.

    Comments about Self-Watering Trellis Planters:

I was interested in the self-watering component since we live on the edge of the desert in Colorado where plants need water every day, and am pleased with that feature of this product. I purchased the small planter which is fine for the annuals I planted but I don't think that the planting area is deep enough for tomatoes or other vegetables.

These look so nice. I bought them to put in my yard as a psychological barrier (since they are rather short) and they look great. They were easy to put together too.

    Comments about Self-Watering Trellis Planters:

Surprisingly - these worked rather well although they are the same principle as the self-watering reservoirs for pots (which did not work for me). I wanted the bigger size, but they were not available and I think they would be better for my purpose - which is to leave them for 2 weeks. If there is no rain, the reservoir is not enough to keep them - but again, customer service says to use soil-less mix - not mentioned in the catalog or directions. At least, the reservoir is dry after 2 weeks.

It adds that extra little something to my deck area. It's light enough that I can move it around to different places.
