Designed specially for pole beans, our newest Grow Bag is wider at the bottom for stability and tapers at the top to fit our custom support. The support has a 24" diameter base for stability and is 81-1/4" tall. Simply string the included twine between the eight hooks on the base and the ring at the top. The porous fabric aerates roots, prevents heat build-up and allows excess water to drain away.

Comments about Bean Grow Bags:

i'm using for a combination of green garden peas and italian green beans. so far, wiithin first week pea tendrils attached themselves to string without much encouragement from me. waiting to see if the string provided will be able to support peas when fully grown.
i also attached long strips of aluminum ribbon to top of structure to discourage birds.
it's a pretty addition to the yard.

Comments about Bean Grow Bags:

I took a gamble and planted sweet peas in this grow bag. The results couldn't be better! I have limited patio space, so I couldn't go with a large trellis for the amount of peas that I wanted to plant. The point I want to make clear is that this bag is more versatile than what the description states. The bag will definitely support sweet peas - mine are about 4-1/2 feet tall! I even see that others have started cucumbers. As long as you have proper support and train the plant along the way, you'll have great results.

Comments about Bean Grow Bags:

With more time at home this spring than usual, I have decided to indulge in a life long desire to garden. Just getting started, I have decided to go the route of grow bags.

Only two observations prevent this from being a five star product..... All of the bags seen to grow mushrooms really well, on the underside. The other issue, with this bag specifically, seems to be the sides will fold in on tender young plants if you are not aware of the fact.

On a more positive note, the design is space friendly and the convenience of having the bag, pole and twine all in one package is very appealing.

Comments about Bean Grow Bags:

These are very easy to store between seasons and a good use of recycled plastic. My only con is that they'r awkward to fill with soil. They like to cave in and not hold shape while you're filling them. Other that that, I love these.
