In Texas our hanging baskets dry out SO quickly. I feel like I'm wasting much less water that doesn't just run through the basket liner. The real test will be late summer, but right now, my plants are very happy.

This basket is simply the best! I have over a dozen hanging baskets and the watering duty is enormous. BUT with this basket I only have to water half as much as with store bought baskets. I am replacing all my baskets with this product!!

maybe great that it holds flat for storage--but it is impossible to fill as there is no way to lock into UP position. so far it seems way too wet and I fear my plants are going to die due to sitting in water for too long. No drainage.

We bought three of these for our front porch and absolutely love them! They look so much better than the tacky plastic hanging pots we've had in the past. The flowers are looking great, and we also love that they collapse for storage.
P.S. We have ALWAYS been happy with everything we've ordered from Gardener's Supply--we've never had a problem or a reason to return an item.

Love the baskets, but the holder chain was not strong enough to hold the basket when filled. It's the piece that attaches to the basket that is not strong enough. One came crashing down after I had put all of my plants in. I was ready to cry! I did order chains from Gardners Supply because I didn't know they were included and those work great!

The basket is designed so that it will fold for storage. It is constructed so well that it has withstood 60 mph gusts and sustained winds over 50. The coir liner with embedded plastic holds enough moisture in our DRY, high desert climate that I am only having to water once a day (we haven't hit the HOT temps yet so the real test is yet to come). The first time in over ten years I have tried hanging baskets outside due to many failures.

Planted my 2 hanging baskets several weeks ago and have been very pleased with their ability to hold the water. The water tends to just "run through" on other similiar products, but not these. I plan to order more liners for other baskets. The chains on these baskets are nice and sturdy also.
