Have bought weather sticks from Gardeners Supply in the past - and they REALLY work! Fun to see - great from kids as well as adults! Due to weather exposure, the do eventually break or blow away in storms. At this reasonable price, they are well worth replacing. I am buying these 3 for family members to enjoy! GREAT ITEM!!!

I was given my 1st weather stick from my father-in-law about 25 years ago. It was destroyed by the eastcoast blizzard in Feb 2010, so I had to order a replacement. I have gotten so used to just looking out the kitchen window to know if it was going to rain. We have ours mounted on the eave of the garage, so it's quite visible.I don't quite understand just how it works, but amazingly, it does. Clear skies and the weatherstick points upward. Rain coming and low and behold, it points to the ground!! Really a neat learning tool for the grandkids, too!

Amazingly, the stick does a great job of predicting when the barometric pressure will drop. This works in all kinds of weather, and though we are amused by the weather stick, it is more often right then wrong when telling us the weather will change.

We really like our stick. It started working the first day we put it outside. We use it to check the barometer to see if the fish are biting. Steady or rising the fish are supposed to bite. Falling no bites.The price is also very reasonable. Has been accurate as far as rain and weather.

I bought one of these years ago in Ct. Lost it when we had our house painted. Just bought 6 of these and I am disappointed. Doesn't work as well as our other one. Right now, the stick is pointing down and sun is shining. No rain in sight. Yesterday it was raining and stick standing straight out. I have given 4 away so far and they are having the same result.

I can't believe how fun this weather stick is. It's amazing how accurate it is and how drastically it bends. This weekend we got up and consulted the stick, it was sticking straight up in the air, nice weather ahead. We had a beautiful day. That same evening I checked and it was pointed down. I was surprised, it was still so nice out. But then we had a huge storm in the middle of the night, smart stick!

We got the weather stick as a "giggle" gift several years ago. I will have to admit I didn't think it would work in South Florida with all the heat and humidity. But it does!
